Unable to 'view' Private Messages

The mail box shows there is mail. I click and there is indeed mail! I choose 'read'... The screen takes me to a listing of MY games, (OF WHICH, the newest one, which the mail is/was about, is NOT listed.) I go back and try the second message. Same thing occurs, I go to a listing of MY games, and the one this mail is supposed to be related to is no longer in my listings. I am baffled, as this has happened before, but I assumed I was not doing it correctly - I've done it a few more times now, enough to know I'm using it correctly - the listing\message is somehow glitching.  (It MAY have been a message from the 'game', however, the link should still have connected me, or at least allowed me to read the message. And, I don't know why the game is NOT listed in my list of games, it was yesterday.) Help, please , khrys...

If you go to the 'Private Messages' link in the menu dropdown for your name (in the upper right), do you see any of the messages? Additionally, games vanish from games listings when the creator deletes a game so check with the creator of the game to see if this happened (if you can.  If you can't remember, post again here and we'll see what we can do to help you out.)

Private messages link (little pink envelope?) and, no. Once I clicked it, and it dropped me into a listing of 'My Games' it disappeared. Both of them. I used a link I saved when replying to the game to wend my way back to the game 'forum' and left a message for the DM asking WTH? as it did appear the game was gone. (Something, that, if a game is cancelled, a notification when we click OUR link to the game should pop-up; not just eliminating the game from our games leaving us to scratch our heads and shout "foul!", but I digress...) The game has indeed been cancelled and I was able to view the (new) messages today (although NOT the messages from yesterday.) Something else, I probably should bring up in the "fix this" area of the forums , but I am here now and on a roll... The game's creator link should be listed somewhere in our info so we can be sure a game HAS been cancelled and it is NOT a glitch, so no one has to go through the flippin' song-and-dance I did to FINALLY locate the game forum. :0) And, thanks , the problem may still exist, but it is not an issue right now, so hopefully it will not be one in the future, khrys... :0)

Just to be ultra-clear:  the little pink envelope is an alert to new messages, but you can manage your private messages by clicking on your name in the upper right corner and then selecting 'Private Messages' from that drop down menu.  :) As for the other issue.... Okay, then, my 'new messages' disappeared. But, have worked out that, while they are gone, it doesn't matter and hopefully this issue will not return as a bug in the future. Thanks for your assistance. khrys...
