Missing spell in Compendium

Hello, My friends and I are new to Roll20 (as in it is less than a week since we found it) and are starting our first game on Thursday. This means none of us are yet very familiar with everything, so please bear with me if this post contains a lot of common or stupid questions. :) When putting together our sheets for the game start, I was trying to add the bard spell "Dissonant Whispers" from the compendium, but it doesn't appear to be listed. Do we need to update the Compendium we're using in some fashion, or is this a known issue? Furthermore, are Compendiums tied to the sheet being used? If so, is there a generally accepted "high quality sheet" people recommend using? I'm sure these questions are asked frequently, but I couldn't manage to locate an answer so apologies if this is a common query. Many thanks!

Dissonant Whispers, along with a number of other spells, monsters and class options, was not released into the SRD by Wizards of the Coast. As such, the spell does not appear in the Compendium. Don't worry, this question gets asked a lot.

I thought there had to be a good explanation, since it seemed highly unlikely to me that no one has tried to use that spell before! Thank you for clarifying. Are there any options for adding absent items to our game ourselves, or do people just refer to the PHB every time for the missing info?
You can manually add spells into the character sheet. Unfortunately (at least for the 5e OGL sheet) you have to do this each time you want to add the spell to a different character (NPC/PC).

If you use the Shaped Sheet, there are some options available for importing from printed stat blocks.
Thank you everyone! Appreciated.
