Experienced DM, looking to help new players find a game.

I'm new to D&D, but I have been playing a weekly session locally for about a month now (love it!).  Friday/Saturday nights: 20:30 CST

Hey, I'd love to get into some games. finding it really difficult with some things on my schedule. My name is Craig, and I;m in GMT time zone. I can do Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays from around 8:15 GMT. 

I'd be interested in the availability information you get from this.  I have a game with slots open on Sundays and I'm open to new players, but people don't exactly let you know when games are outside of their availability.  I might be willing to hop in as a DM later, but don't have time right now.

Hi, i'm new to Roll20 but i've been RPing for about 15 years. Trouble is I've never got to play any D&D type games, we've always been a WoD and homebrew crowd. I'd love love love to get into some D&D or pathfinder and give it a try. HELL YES! sorry for the hiatus everyone!... i run my own heating and cooling shop, and well... it has been busy! Anyway, things are back on track, and WHEH, i am so excited to see all the interest... damn, we will have our own adventure league in no time! I have been toying around with one of my regular player's and well, we have something juicy!   I'll need a few more days over the weekend to sort out the particulars, but the plan has evolved into an Adventurer's League! more details to come, i swear to ... i swear to... screw it, i swear it upon the hand of Vecna!  we will breathe life into this, and get each and every one of you role players into fighting form! I would love to play. I have played AD&D first edition and another game involving vampires that I cant recall the name at the moment. I have Mon and Wed all day available. I am in the -5 UTC timezone. I dont have a lot of evenings free, but I might be able to do a Monday or Wed or Sat evening.

I'm a dm, but I don't know if I can handle another game. It takes all I have to get things set up for the one I have. I am looking to join a game, though, as a player to get more experience.

i have this as a description of my character character name: Harrison shadowflame race: human background: searching thief class: the class is a combination of a ranger and a thief backstory: a ranger who is also a thief he came to this land in search of the thief's guild only to find rumors. whilst searching he found out that the world wasn't realy good on his travles in search of the thief's guild he had a run in with some bandits the bandits of course tried to kil him and some of the vilagers when things got out of hand he ran for it leaving the vilagers behind ( he regrets his desision to this day) but even though he ran the thief/ranger kept searching for the thiefs guilt far and wide he found nothing and was going to give up but then he heard a story about a thief that was being suspected of being part of the thief's guild and so the young thief/ranger went searching for this man and the thief's guild

Rick what time zone you in. It's helpful for dms and other players to know this. I too would like to play on Saturdays or Sundays and being a newbie myself. I also have a character or two lines up

@rick shadowflame Welcome to roll20 and D&D. If you are seaching for a game for new players, head over to the Join a game function and look for them there first. You can apply to the ones that fit your schedule easily, and with some patience and proper applications, a DM might pick you up. Also please try to avoid spamming a forumthread with multiple messages in a row, since this tends to be pretty irritating. This is a forum, and not a Whatsapp conversation. Make sure to read the helpful threads here in the lfg forum, complete the tutorial and read the code of conduct. Best Greetings, zero

A thief/rogue is fairly unique as the have a specific set of skills. And a ranger is like a druid/fighter cross a druid is focally magic a fighter focally Melee/ranged so a ranger is sort of an amalgum focused more to fighting and tracking with magical tendencies. If you are after a ranger/thief type multiclassing is your best option but being new I wouldn't recommend it yet as it has it's own rules to follow
