Hi all, I am looking to put together something of an RPG “Book” Club. The idea is we meet every week to play a game (just like any other RPG group), but every 3-6 weeks or so, we change game systems and GMs. We all get to play a bunch of different systems, we all take turns as GM, and because we change systems regularly it would be fairly low commitment compared to joining up with at the start of a long term campaign. It would also give people a chance to get to know each other, so that if a longer campaign did start up, you wouldn’t be signing up for a multi-month/year commitment with people you didn’t know. My current availability is limited to Friday and Saturday, however I am extremely flexible during those two days. I live out on the west coast of the U.S., and I’m an early riser who has no problem staying up late if there is something fun to do. So I am free from 6am to midnight Pacific on both days. If you’re interested let me know! Little about me: My name is Matthew, I’m a 28 year old environmental scientist out in California. I’ve been playing RPGs for about 8 years, I started with D&D 4e before diving into 3.5 and Pathfinder. I am one of the weirdos who really loved 4e more than 3.X. Currently my all-time favorite games are Fiasco, Fate Core, and the Fantasy Flight Star Wars games. I love games that give players (not just GMs) power over the narrative. But I’ve also played and enjoyed 13 th Age, Dungeon World, the Cypher System, Eclipse Phase, Pokemon Tabletop United, D&D 5e, and Microscope. My pile of shame (games I own but haven’t played much of) currently includes Shinobigami, Shadowrun, Trail of Cthulhu, City of Mist, Feng Shui 2, and Mouse Guard.
