Living the Life The campaign is going to be centred around and in a thriving city at a time of mostly-peace. Martial artists, trade and performer's guilds, temples and monks, citizens and samurai - they all live and work in this city, and the farmers work the lands around it. Players are encouraged to come up with any character they like, whether it be a martial artist, who will participate in the city's frequent tournaments of skill and honor, a disgrace samurai, who is fighting to regain his honor - and perhaps the trust of the local daimyo, all the way to travelling brewers, simple monks seeking enlightenment, or unscrupulous nobles seeking to gain a foothold in the power struggles of the high society. Rules and Information Currently, the campaign is still in a rough planning stage, and I am seeking as much feedback from players as I can. I have prepared some of what will be an extensive campaign document, describing various social classes of the city's society, as well as providing custom-built advantages (or disadvantages) to go with these. A few things are set in stone, however: We will be using the Basic Set, Martial Arts, and Low-Tech books. (Although this list may be expanded) There will be no requirement from the players on amount of posts per week. There will be no requirement from the players to meet up, gather, work together, or even ever think about each other. For all intents and purposes, you can join this campaign for a 'single-player' experience, with me as your personal DM, although you may run across another character eventually, of course. Contact You can of course reply to this topic if you wish to know more about the campaign, or see the unfinished document. Otherwise, if you're more interested in a rapid-fire discussion, feel free to add me on Discord and drop me a message, my nick is Nuzzleskatev#9069.
