The next published handbook, Oct 17

With the release of yawning portal in a couple of weeks there is a lot of talk about what is next for Wizards on some of the boards I like to read. At some point wizards released on twitter and other media that it was going to be handbook 2 type book like Volo's was a monster manual 2. Personally I am hoping for more spells and feats.  Has anyone seen any official news anywhere? All my google foo shows me is a bunch of talking heads.

excited if this is true, more spells, feats, subclasses, backgrounds, and items are all within the realm of possibility here.

Don't know if this is accurate but they are saying some of the Unearthed Arcane material is going to be included like the new ranger class. I can see this as true since Volo's had UA monsters and races, but I was hoping to find something official to confirm that.

I heard the same thing. A lot of the stuff that has been up for play-test will be released in a future book. I heard that the ranger stuff will specifically be added. From what I have seen though, they will have to tone it back a bit as some of the original stuff requested for more options made rangers a tad op. I can't wait to see what they come up with.
