Upon their arrival at Bargewright Inn, the party hears puzzling stories about the appearance of their recently deceased party member Auron in the town. And he's been causing quite a stir. Reports of his behavior turning more violent add to the mystery, and the party proceeds to the nearby Necromancer's Cave, named such because necromancers frequently use it as a lair. The cave lives up to its name at first, teeming with the undead and other nasty creatures. The party slogs through the cave system, burning through resources, pausing after discovering that the undead in one room appear to be unable to escape past some sort of magical or psionic field. But still no sign of Auron... and where did the cleric disappear to in the thick of the battle?
