Chat log won't display anything.

After our group finished our session yesterday with no issues we got on today to find that our chat log is not working or updating. Dice rolls (3d or otherwise) are not appearing, messages are not sent or received, and we can't even clear it properly as the messages will pop up after a second or two. The only time a message seemingly worked was only one sided. One group member sent an image on the game and it popped up for him but for no one else. The only thing strange that may or may not be the cause is that a group member started to test heavily with macros and our chat log if full of what seems to be code for the failed macros. Update: Looking at the link that displays the entire game's chat log reveals that it is getting our rolls and chat messages after the code, but the game in the editor isn't. We don't know if this is a network issue or the failed macro's issues. Update 2: People rolling has revealed that its adding more broken code that one of our group members, who isn't doing anything in roll 20 currently, put out previously when they were making their macros. Update 3 and Fix: After noticing that we saw it posting more code, we decided to roll a ton to "Get it out of the system". After a good 20+ rolls with no end to the code, one of out group members left and realized that they got all the code and things were updating. I don't know if that fixed it specifically, but it seems to be fixed for everyone now.

A game's Creator is often able to fix issues with their Text Chat by clearing the Chat Archive (note: not clearing your current Chat Log ). A GM might want to copy/back up the Chat Archive before the Creator clears it.
