Hello adventurers! My boyfriend and I will be running a fast and loose sandbox game starting from lvl1 with new players in mind. We have a friend who has never played D&D before who wants to get into it, but before we introduce him into our formal setting we want to get him used to role-play. This being said you do not HAVE to be new to D&D5e to play. We would like at least one other experienced role player to join him to help teach him the traits of a good role-player. We will be looking for 2-3 players. Game Intro In the Raven Mire swamps an obsidian Dog Statue speaks tall tales of travelers he has met. It is said though that all whom talk with the dog meet misfortune. Your party a newly formed band of adventures under the employ of Vincent Ravenmire have stumbled across the statue in The Mire. Campaign Rules Be Punctual. Be on time for the game, pop in a few minutes early even. If you cant make a game for what ever reason let us know at least a day in advanced. While we understand life happens, all of us are clearing our schedule for the game. Don't waste everyone's day because you couldn't take a few seconds of your day to give a heads up. Dont be a dick. This is our absolute biggest rule! Games are about everyone's fun, please don't ruin it because you are holding a personal grudge about something that happened in or out of the game. You have a mouth use it to talk out your problems. If something bugging you about someone talk with the person and the DM about it. If your shy message the DM, he will pull the player aside and have a chat. Dont be a dick in character. We get it not every characters a saint, we don't expect it. Ribbing and and grudges can and often happen, not everyone is going to agree with everyone else. However if youre playing a character whos soul reason in life is to fuck the people your in a party with maybe rethink the logic. These people are how you make money, survive threw combat, and in general will have your best interests in mind. Fucking those people hurts you in the long run as well. Even if your playing an evil character, buttering up the people around you is going to go a lot further when your secret evil deeds leads to some people trying to kill you or toss you in jail. Now that this is all been said and done feel free to apply here! https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/76546/the-obsidian-statue

I'm sorry about that, link should be fixed! Another thing we should mention is that party makeup isn't important! We would rather our players play a character that they like rather then feel like they need to fill a roll. Thanks for thought though!
Bump! Still looking for one more~ The session zero will be tonight. We can interview you at any point in time before the game actually starts.
