Traveling down the road, a gang of new adventurers are bound for Phandalin, a small, quaint village in the sword coast. Having been hired to escort a caravan of goods by a well off dwarf, the party thought this was going to be some easy money... This adventure is the beginner game for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition. The intention is to introduce you to the game and what the life of an adventurer is like. Should I Apply? I am looking for 5 to 6 player who are willing to play weekly through this adventure, with an option to continue onward into other adventures if you enjoyed yourself. I want players with little to no experience playing , as my intention is to use this adventure to teach new players, and give them the tools they need to become as addicted to this game as I am. If you know this game well or have played a lot and want to get into the advanced stuff like high levels and mixed classes, this is not the game for you . We will be playing with pregenerated characters to ease people into the game, rather than spending a lot of time on character creation. How do we play? I prefer to use the in game voice and chat system, to keep my number of windows to manage to a minimum, but if we have problems with the voice system (which happens sometimes) then we will use google hangouts as a backup. You are not required to have video, but *a microphone is required*. Who are you, DM? I am an active DnD Dungeon Master who has DMed weekly for more than 20 years both in person as well as on Roll20. I have also played in a variety of systems include DnD 3,4,and 5, GURPS, Mage, WoD, and many more. I also have a computer science background, so I use a variety of API scripts to make the game as easy to follow as possible, add a bit of dramatic flare. I work very hard to ensure all my players are having fun and have the opportunity to play. As a DM, I recognize the importance of teamwork in this game, but also that my role is that of a leader as well as a facilitator, and that means I focus a lot on ensuring all my players get equal time at the table.
