Hi, I'm Finn Now that I have your attention it's only polite for me to introduce myself. My name is Finn (Information you may have gained from the title of this listing) and for the last five years I've been working on my craft as a story teller through the medium of D&D. Basically... I'm a Dungeon Master. Have been ever since I started. Being the most enthusiastic person at the table seem to get you placed in that role ;) Over my years in this lovely hobby I have had the pleasure of learning many different games types. I've run everything from the Red box to 5th edition D&D, Pathfinder, Dungeon World, The Warren, Burning Wheel, Mouseguard and Apocalypse world. I enjoy playing each, and have been known to jump around.. Hell I may even change it up for this listing from time to time! For now though, we'll stick with an easy one... 5e. Getting Into D&D and Roll20 Finding a game can be tough. There are many more players than DM's, which makes getting into games quite competitive. It's just something you have to deal with when it comes to playing online. For new players though? It can be discouraging when finding a game becomes difficult. My goal is to accommodate as many players as I can, by giving them a taste of what D&D can be. Each week be running games with new players in each game, as to bring as many people as I can (about 10/week) into a game. What Im looking for... Enthusiasm! Above all else enthusiasm and creativity is what drives this game. I don't care if you've never played an RPG in your life, as long as you are excited to play and can bring some ideas to the table. On top of that there is not much more to say. Be kind to each other, make an attempt to come out of your shells and engage. The rest is up to me to teach :) How to apply The applications will vary slightly from week to week depending on what game I'll be choosing to run. For the first couple I'll be using my own adventures (I have a catalog prepared), so the questions will mostly be posted as creative prompts. How you respond gives me a good idea of what you're interested in and how I'll be forming the game. After you apply expect a message from me within 24hours or so... I apologize to anyone that has to wait longer (sometimes I'm a day or two behind). From that first message we will work on positioning you into a game, and introducing you to you party members! CLICK APPLY HERE - https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/74080/finns-weekly-one-shot Thank you for your time. I look forward to reading your applications! Best Regards, Finn
I have a question about this; would we be rolling new characters each time? Or is it like a 'progressive' one shot series where each adventure is it's own separate thing but we keep the characters/progress them?

I sent you a PM already Stephen, but I realize now that more people may want an answer to this question so I'll paste it here as well. Hi Stephen, I'm responding to you question on the Forums.. As a series of One-Shots my games all stand independent of each other. The games are set up as an introduction to Roll20 and D&D 5e. Each week I grab 5 new players, help them create their characters, group them all together and then play through an adventure I've designed. The characters are only designed to be used once, as I only really play with each player once... However If someone wants to save the character for another game, I highly encourage them to make use of the Character Vault tool once the game is complete! Hope this clears up any confusion you have. Regards, Finn
