
New players welcome at the start of hopefully a long campaign. I will be using the Mongoose 2nd Ed Ruleset but will be drawing on material from all versions. I always prefer real characters so yes you can be rubbish at things. Roll for stats and take what you get. The first session will mainly consist of character creation, a vital and fun part of any Traveller Campaign. Like most Traveller campaigns, combat does not take up the majority of gameplay. I would imagine about 30%. The rest is roleplay, mystery, and exploration. Just jumping from A to B can be an event in itself. GM is a mature family man from the UK who understands that real life takes priority, but please don't commit if you don't think you will be able to undertake a long campaign.
