I like to use hexes because then I don't have to deal with diagonal movement (huzzah!), but when I make a token "large," it's still centred on one hex, thus taking up seven in total on the map. Under d20 rules (I can't speak for other systems), a large creature actually takes up three hexes, so I've been manually placing large tokens at the point where three hexes meet, but it's a little finicky. Having the option to centre tokens either on a hex/square or on a vertex (where three hexes *or* two squares meet) would be great. It could be a toggle in the token menu. Here's a "small" token on one hex: Here's a "large" token centred on one hex (i.e., Roll20's automatic behaviour): Here's a "large" token centred on the point where three hexes meet (i.e., d20 rules): I'd like the system to be able to do this last thing automatically instead of having to place the token manually.
