I have an idea/experiment that I would like to try out with the group that I heard on a podcast. This will be good for those long journeys in hyperspace with your characters. Some groups call doing this a vignettte or bubble. Some time during the next session or two while your characters are in hyperspace or have a large chunk of down time I'd like to encourage the entire group to participate in some kind of group activity while in character. This could be having a meal together (R1-G could lubricate his joints as a droid equivalent?), playing a game (Truth or Dare perhaps), a contest, taking turns telling jokes, or simply having a group conversation about a given topic (e.g., Shoola, the Empire, the Rebel Alliance, the destruction of Alderaan, the Zann Consortium, Devas, Jad, Ult bounty, the arena fight), etc. Each player/character would need to participate. The aim is to encourage role play and learning more about your fellow characters and strengthening character bonds. If you are game to try this, I would increase the wound threshold of each group member by +1 for the remainder of the session. Keep in mind that if your characters have any arguments that should be considered a disagreement between the characters and not the players.
