Character Sheet for Black Company 3.5e?

Hello All, I'm looking to start up a Black Company Game here on Roll20.  The Black Company is part of the Mythic Vistas setting for D&D 3.5e.  I have done a little editing of character sheets for another game, but this is beyond my ability.  any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome back and I hope you are feeling much better! So from what I can see with a cursory glance it would ideally have: areas for speed and load for the various loads carried a 'con' hitpoints box area for massive damage threshold action points favoured class allegiances in the header (or elsewhere but top two summarised in the header?) saving throw modifiers? armour class modifiers? Rather than BAB1-4 simply a BAB and a #attacks box? combat modifiers magic skills adding to the skill list skill modifiers? spells simplified to use spell energy/save dc rather than level based /day and dcs? If you could summarise what these things are or how they are different (or implemented differently) from 3.5e that would be a huge help. For example if 'number of attacks' simply follows the same rules as BAB1-4 then that section won't need changing right? If the save/ac/skill modifiers are simply free text notes then there won't need to be sections for them since notes sections are available for ac/skills already (maybe rename them...), one could still be added for saves though. Also, anything else I've missed?

Ok cool, thats certainly a good starting point for me :) I can't promise a super quick turnaround due to 'life' but will certainly try to come up with something for you to test out before the apocalypse ;) I think the only thing I need further is how the massive damage threshold is calculated and whether max action points is based off a set value (ie. 1/level etc). Final thoughts (to reduce the number of potential fields needed) do you want me to strip out the spells section down to basics, maybe reducing it do the kind of info on the sheet you linked to and maybe a single repeating section for recording spell details? My custom 3.5e sheet has a revamped inventory and feats/special abilities section, does this system follow 3.5e enough to make these changes acceptable? (mine essentially has repeating sections to allow for ammunition recording, consumables, weapon/armour crystals, magic items by slot and feats/abilities repeating sections). Also Diana, if you come across this, are you ok with me doing this based HEAVILY on your code?

Always and of course.  I based my code on other's work in the first place and I enjoy seeing what other folk can make of my work (once they get over cringing at the inconsistent programming and stuff.. :).

one more thing. For the Massive damage, we would need a misc box for bonuses from feats and such.  Con + player level + misc.  Thanks

Key things to note: Moved the 'speed' along side the other movement types to make room for the action points Added 3x allegiance fields to header added calculations for Con HP and massive damage based on level and con score as needed (forced a 1 minimum to level attribute too) Changed Homeland for background as it is more useful information Updated skill lists to match Black Company added feats/abilities repeating section to stats tab included my version of an inventory management system (there are ways to summarise the data contained using macros calling hidden attributes which i'll add as token actions for reference should you find them useful, also added a character from my game so you can see the sheet in action from a 3.5 perspective so some things might be blanked) Removed most of the spell section, added fields for spell energy and save dc and 2 column repeating sections for adding spell lists to (no buttons as I'm not sure how you'd want these but can add if needed easily enough) DIDN'T add the speed/max load table because I view encumbrance as being 'meh' and a common sense problem rather than mechanical one but WILL add it if you really want it/enforce such drivel ;) DIDN'T add favoured class as per your note but will do if desired. Also note that I have installed the Powercards API script to this test environment so that if you wanted to play around with the sample character you can do relatively freely (shapeshifting won't work since I haven't brought the rollable table across nor installed some of the other APIs needed to run that advanced feature). Let me know of any changes/notes/criticisms/issues here.

Change gold to silver Change crystals to Masterwork Item. &nbsp;move above worn items I don't&nbsp;need the seven worn items slotless Spells Can you add a notes section to the spells, below each added spell, in both columns? I would love the macro that links the inventory to the chat, thats&nbsp;really cool. I want to really thank you for your help. &nbsp;Roll20 is great. &nbsp;the community is so helpful.

I keep separate&nbsp;sheets in the Journal as Character's {I'm just figuring it out}&nbsp; you multiply the HD of a 8 mad squad. so level 2 squad would be 16HD. you add 2 HD for every other squad, so now a 32 man platoon would be 22HD. you use this number with average BaB for the unit against the A/C of the outer unit. &nbsp;It's pretty fast and clean. &nbsp;Especially&nbsp;with the massive&nbsp;dmg threshold and grievous wounds for failing fortitude saves.

Ahh ok cool, so separate sheets for the armies probably works better than extra info on the PC sheets. Have made the scroll case name editable, it will have a placeholder name of 'scroll case' &nbsp;which can be made into anything but will need SOMETHING adding for it to feature as a header in the inventory outputs (if needed I can make scroll case the default value instead so that if it is never changed it will still display as a header...?) I'll also add some inventory manager text to the current roll template info area for future reference too.

also under masterwork items can there be a dropdown choice for gear/equipment? &nbsp; in the weapons section, it has weapon&nbsp;enh.&nbsp;there are not really magical weapons in BC, so a +1 bonus to accuracy(to hit) would not give a bonus to sharpness (damage)at the same time. so is 2 boxes possible? &nbsp;or could I just fix this with a macro? thanks

As for the weapon enh... could completely remove that altogether, the weapon focus field only adds to attack (accuracy) and specialisation only adds to damage (sharpness) so I could rename those accordingly and have them as the default for those bonuses?

I have a quick macro question. &nbsp;I have seen but can't find a macro query that asks you how many dice then asks what type/number of sides. then makes the rolls for you. &nbsp;any ideas?

one last question, maybe. I have made quite a few&nbsp;NPC's and bad guys using the Attributes and Abilities section of the character. &nbsp;Will uploading the character sheet mess with characters i have already made or just new ones?

Won't change a thing, in fact if you've used any attribute names that mirror the ones used in the original 3.5e sheet and subsequently this sheet then they will be available in the relevant field for you once the sheet is selected :)

Thanks and sure, its actually a feature I have on my version of the original 3.5e sheet... The biggest issue comes in when you have multi class players. I'll see if I can find a robust way to handle it and add it to the sheet when I get chance
