So its been a long, long time since I have been able to get my superhero RPG game on. So forgive me if this is a bit of a rambling post, but hey more information the better sometimes. Let's start with Savage Worlds: Necessary Evil. Back in the day I used to play City of Heroes, a MMO set in the post alien invasion period of the game history. It was a city that was rife with troubles anywhere from hell fire fueled street gangs, left over aliens and ancient totems trying to get worshipers to gain more power. When I saw Savage Worlds: Necessary Evil, that got me feeling a bit nostalgic. I like that you're playing villains that are trying to save the world from a hostile occupying force. I could totally go for that sort of thing. Mutants & Masterminds next. That's a game I have always liked and having recently gone through all the Marvel netflix shows as well as "The Arrowverse" I could love to get into a Mutants & Masterminds game that is more grounded in the 'real world' with street level vigilantes and 'low power' metahumans battling it out in the shadows. With the exception of Thursdays my schedule is open for gaming, I would prefer an evening (EST) game that is weekly. I have Hero Labs for both Mutants & Masterminds as well as Savage Worlds so making a sheet will be easy. I tend to be more comfortable with smaller groups, 4 - 5 players. I feel with more it gets harder to get a word in edgewise when people are excited and talking over each other. As I like to make sure we're all on the same page , I'm looking for a serious type of superhero game. I'm looking for a game along the lines of Batman: The Animated Series, and Daredevil (netflix), not The Mask and Freakazoid.
