**CAMPAIGN IN PROGRESS - PLAYER BEGINS AT LEVEL 5** Need consistent attendance. Replacing player due to attendance Setting "The world as you know it is perfectly normal. Most of you have grown up living simpler lives in the dense slum city of Orion. Going to an fro working your various professions, or getting up to trouble, you and your soon to be party members, live relatively safe lives, protected from what lives out side of the impermeable 'steel' like ring around the city, working as a protective barrier. It's origins, while entirely speculative, have deep cultural ties going back as far as anyone can recall, showing up in the earliest folklores. Stories that you all seem to hung onto a bit longer than most while growing up. There is an extensive history to The Outlands and the rest of the world, but most of it has been lost through time. Part of the campaign involves the PCs discovering clues to its lost history. The population is scarce - and the wilds teaming with danger. Players can expect extensive combat throughout this campaign. Campaign Updates The actions of the party until now have had rippling effects across the entire world. The wasteland outside of the main city of Orion are more dangerous than ever. New factions seem to be poping up everywhere, the Reveries, an ancient race using magics to summon their long paste souls back into new bodies are spreading out everywhere in search of something. The Legion, after their initial siege of the Orion city have been seen exploring ancient relics. The party is making a habit of running into them in the deepest darkest holes of The Outlands. Bandits, outcasts of Orion, seem to be forever on the run from Reavers, magically corrupted and petrid "creatures" that roam the wastelands, and seem to be in conflict with other nomadic bandit 'factions. The Party is just now learning how the environment works, and have started crude efforts "up their game". -- There will be also ample opportunity for role playing, and players are deeply encouraged to engage in the shared story. The campaign is built for level 1 through 15.
