I'm gonna go get myself some new gear before we meet back at the Merlin King ." Hamanap accepts her share as well, nodding. "I'll try to find Xankoris before he leaves town. I promised to invest in his spell research." Leoavor takes charge of the party's shares, so he can stow them safely in the Waypoint'sn vault . Just to be clear, the portions under "party sales" and "the emerald" are shares paid out too, yes? Like the 102gp and 43pp, 7gp, 5sp for Hamanap, respectively? And does the party get a double share for the emerald?

they are separate yes. I  did ask kraggan to skip the 2 party shares, though if there is a misunderstanding, i'll have to arrange the payment from Limars bank account in water wend.

After doublechecking, Kraggan is fine with the party shares going towards the emerald being a homecoming gift. She also asks "So after this, what's the new order of priority in claiming items?"

no clue my best guess is Leoavor:  Kraggan Limar Hiskel/ avariel/ ering/ hammun/ verne / xankoris -so i guess have all of them roll for new spots benath Limar. and axil if he's planning on sticking around.
A few out of character questions The order for claiming items is for when two pcs (or pc and npc) want the same item but can't come to an arrangement? Has it happened before? Does claiming something put you at the bottom of the order regardless of its value? Any difference between paying for it and just borrowing it from the party treasury? (I rolled a 6 for the order btw)

Does claiming something put you at the bottom of the order regardless of its value? Any difference between paying for it and just borrowing it from the party treasury? (I rolled a 6 for the order btw) In the original setup the PCs arranged, the purpose of claiming order was indeed to prevent issues if two party members wanted to claim the same item, but I don't recall that's it been a problem yet (which is why it hasn't been tracked for quite a while). Claiming an item as your personal property put you at the bottom, but borrowing an item with approval of the rest of the party did not; this way, if a dispute arose over an item, whomever was higher on the list would get first right to it. Rolls for the NPCs in the party, from highest to lowest: Drusilia 19, Verne 19, Leoavor 10, Axil 4, Hamanap 3
Seems good, I had a few other questions not directly loot related but this seems like the best place Is spell research handled using the DMG guidelines (access to  library, 1k gp per week, etc)? Is it usual for the party to pay for spell research like we did with the Castle of Water?

Is it usual for the party to pay for spell research like we did with the Castle of Water? Yes, the normal rules for creating a new spell are used. Typically a character covers the cost themselves, or finds and negotiates with investors; I'm a little confused about the last part of your question though, I had the impression Xankoris was going to pay for it. Btw Josh, if the loot is fully handled now, is it alright for me to clear out the contents of the new Tenser's floating disk sheet and delete the old one?
thats fine.
After stowing the rest of the party's treasury in the Vault, at the next war council Leoavor reminds his fellow Wayfinders that the potions and scrolls there (see The Stone River Waypoint handout in-game) should probably be held by those likeliest to need them. He also brings the Potion of fox's cunning  with the strange additional aura of necromancy to Ering, asking "I think you wanted to hold onto this one until we could figure out what's up with it? Since you'd know best as a necromancer, it seems safest that way." Hamanap also asks "What of the Wand of cure moderate wounds ? Since I'm using the Staff of Healing, perhaps Xankoris should carry it when he returns from his research in Treefall. As Kraggan pointed out with the Staff, she is oft wielding Kurik or transfigured into some beast when we meet our foes in battle."

"Yes, it's most likely nothing… Maybe a drop of another potion was spilled accidentally, or perhaps it spent some time next to something with a powerful necromantic aura. Nevertheless I would advise against drinking it unless absolutely necessary. I'll try to see if I can come up with a better explanation, but as you might imagine it's not my priority."   "Xankoris seems the best candidate for the wand, I agree."
The spellbooks, which Leoavor strongly suggests keeping in the  Waypoint 's  library  as party assets, include the following spells:      Sarah's: Lv1:  alarm, charm person, erase, feather fall, hypnotism, mage armor, Nystul's magic aura, unseen servant,  wave blessing , Lv2:  fox's cunning ,  gust of wind, Tasha's hideous laughter ,  touch of idiocy, whispering wind ,   Lv3:  deep slumber, dispel magic,  fireball ,  rage ,  suggestion     Idris's: Lv1:  burning hands, cause fear, hold portal, identify, magic missile, protection from good, shocking grasp, Tenser's floating disk,  true casting , Lv2:  continual flame, flaming sphere, gust of wind, see invisibility, shatter,  Lv3:  daylight, fireball, lightning bolt,  shadow tendrils , wind wall They also include various common cantrips, from which any wizard can deduce that Sarah's prohibited schools were likely illusion and necromancy, while Idris's were likely conjuration and transmutation. Idris's book also holds an unusual cantrip,  spark . Remember that spells from outside your core+1 sourcebook set can be learned from captured spellbooks like these, though not from the spellbooks of another PC who got them from their +1 book. In addition to the spells scribed in them, the books include copious notes, personal thoughts, arcane and herbal diagrams, and sketches of various creatures. These confirm Ering and Leoavor's conclusions about their previous owners' prohibited schools, and clarify their specialties.  Red Wizards of the Tempestus  mentioned that they are always specialist mages, but from these notes you learn one of their secrets: as a shorthand, those bearing the tattoos of the intiated refer to their specialization by prefixing the word 'red', so Sarah was a Red Enchantress, while Idris was a Red Evoker like Rizdar. Sarah's journaling also reveals that she was noble-born, from House Lentarin in Kentwing . Knowledge (nobility & royalty) applies. Between them, you're able to glean some more information about Rizdar and his organization too... It turns out that "the Storm" is a magical title like Kraggan's "Fateseeker", which grants Rizdar some measure of resistance to cold and electricity; it is the kind of title which passes to the slayer of its bearer, and was taken by Rizdar from Peloni the Storm, a Tempestuan warlord of some fame, after the red wizard slew him in a duel. Rizdar also hails from Tempestus , and there are references to his sending chests of the exotic electrum coins common in his homeland as bribes or gifts, as well as vague mentions of his having learned the secret arts of Red Wizardry there. Knowledge (geography) applies. Their journals make mention of Rizdar's territory in the northern Catacombs, including a Vault  with some sort of 'hidden lock', a huge arcane library, an astronomical Observatory , and something called a Stormbinding Tower . Each book alludes to 7 other apprentices, and it seems like The Storm keeps them in constant competition with each other, and rewards whichever 3 are currently in his favor by sending on important missions or research projects. Sarah and Idris seemed to be more or less in the middle of the pack, and their various schemes to gain favor or undermine their rivals are frequently mentioned. One of the top 3, Quentin, is mentioned as being a Red Diviner whom Rizdar has had watching for signs of some prophecy relating to one of their enemies named Carnasi. Knowledge (nobility & royalty) applies.
Knowledge (nobility & royalty): 15 Knowledge (geography): 27 Knowledge (nobility & royalty): 17 (I updated the Wayfinder's journal, should I post what I write here in the forums too?)
Dawi said: Knowledge (nobility & royalty): 15 Knowledge (geography): 27 Knowledge (nobility & royalty): 17 (I updated the Wayfinder's journal, should I post what I write here in the forums too?) You vaguely recall House Lentarin from your briefings on the Catacombs area... a noble house in Kentwing , perhaps? Axil is more helpful, having spent the last several decades there: "Ah yes, I remember Sarah Lentarin now... she studied at the Mages College with me for a time. Her family is very respectable, but she always had a wild streak, and when her lord father tried to lock her into an arranged betrothal, she skipped town. I heard he disinherited her after that." You know that Tempestus is a small, landlocked nation 20000 miles or so northeast of Terolus, sharing borders with Coroaster , Suel , the Storm Lands , the Kingdom of Orion , and the Emperium of Salazar . Essentially the foothills of the mountainous Storm Lands , Tempestus is also plagued by near-constant rain and wind blowing in from the Sea of Amarillo , though Coroaster protects them from the worst of it. Their cold hills are somewhat greener than the Storm Lands  as well, but sparsely inhabited by individual fiefs without a king or a capital city. When not waging their endless territorial skirmishes, the stormlords of Tempestus mint electrum coins mined from the mixed veins of gold and silver that are common there. Tempestuans tend to be fair-skinned due to the climate, which is otherwise unusual for that band of southeastern Oerik, and from what you recall Rizdar was quite dark, so his family likely immigrated there at some point in the past. You remember hearing something about a power named Carnasi the last time you were in Waterwend ... Carnasi the Golden, he's called, a guardian naga who protects an ancient, sacred temple in the northern Catacombs, not far south of Rizdar's own lands. There are legends that the temple was built to protect some ancient artifact of great holy power, though some versions of the tale claim it was corrupted by the Lich-King to hold his secret magics; but either way, all agree that Carnasi was convinced to protect it under the auspices of Jorvasskar, a powerful vassal-lord of one of the 3 Great Powers, Iktharlyep. In the years since, The Golden Naga has gathered many powerful heroes to help him defend the temple in the heart of his lands from thieves and villains who would use the artifact for evil. You can post it in the forums if you like. :)
On Kiyo's body, Sja'renj found: 23 steel throwing needles 3 Rokugani-style daggers 2 steel ring-sets with spikes underside the knuckles (which Xankoris recognizes as a variety of neko-te , a ninja weapon/tool, map note WP-1) 1 vial of light green goop (map note WP-2) 1 vial of blue fluid (map note WP-3) After examining the vials in the laboratory , Kraggan concludes that they contain some sorts of poison... but she determine tell anything more specific with her alchemical training.

In the wake of the Storming of the  Waypoint , you recovered a great deal of treasure from your defeated enemies and their supply train, as well as gifts collected in the weeks of reconstruction that follow. You have plenty of time and help to have everything appraised and figure out what's what through experimentation, so I'll summarize it here: Low-Value Bulk Supplies: A huge supply of food and drink: barrels of salt pork/mutton/beef, sacks of grain, casks of wine and ale, boxes of salt and spices, and more. Small herds of pigs, goats, sheep, and chickens. Piles of armor, shields, weapons, and ammunition. Great stocks of various equipment, including clothing, blankets, rope, pitch, hides, nails, and tools of all sorts. Tools and Clothing: 5 Gathering cards (posted in the  appropriate thread ); Annis is worth 200gp and Staff of the Magi 1000gp, the others 100gp each.  A fine gray Cloak of Elvenkind with "Rillifane Rallathil conceal you from your prey" stitched in Elven inside the collar, worth 2500gp. A Bottle of Air, worth 7250gp.  A red dragonscale vest with buttons of violet garnet, worth 5000gp (grants resist fire 5 to wearer). A sable corset worth 2000gp. Arrzak's Rod of Wonder, activated to generate a random effect with the command word "Garudo", worth 12000gp. A Small Hand of Glory made from the left hand of Zeke, worth 8000gp. Weapons: A quarterstaff made of a rare material called plaguewood, which is ancient rotten wood from the coffins of plague victims (worth 200gp, half hardness and HP, 20% chance of any creature hit being exposed to cackle fever, gives holder +2 to saves vs disease and +2 DC to disease spells they cast) Sarai's short sword is part of a set of very rare mundane blades called Benz knives, worth 910gp. "BENZ NO.5" is engraved on the ornate and terrible blade, it adds +1 damage to applied poisons, and it counts as evil-aligned. Craft (weaponsmithing), Appraise, or Knowledge (history) applies. Duelist, a +1 rapier that grants a +1 shield bonus to AC while fighting 1-on-1, worth 2320 gp. Railsplitter, a +2 adamantine greataxe that deals +4 damage to wood and sheds  light  as a torch, worth 11020gp. Kingsman, Kendling's gilded +1 longsword, worth 2550gp, 1/week the wielder can use the command word "Orthek" (Dwarven for "insight") to activate the  true strike  spell-like ability on their next attack with it. A Wand of  Ghoul Touch  (20 charges, onyx bound to tip with sinew, smells faintly of gravesoil, always cool to the touch, worth 1800 gp) One-Use Items: Potions of  sanctuary  (worth 50gp),  protection from arrows  (DR 10/magic, worth 300gp),  undetectable alignment  (worth 300gp) A cursed Potion of  lesser restoration  (worth 300gp, but deals d4 damage to a random ability score instead of normal effect). Arcane scrolls of  light  (worth 12gp, 5sp),  shocking grasp  (worth 25gp),  lesser confusion  (worth 50gp),  protection from chaos  (worth 25gp),  protection from good  (worth 25gp),  charm person  (worth 25gp),  unseen servant  (worth 25gp),  bear's endurance  (worth 150gp),  bull's strength  (worth 150gp),  levitate  (worth 150gp),  pyrotechnics  (worth 150gp),  Melf's acid arrow  (worth 150gp),  calm emotions  (worth 200gp), and  gravelord sword dance  (worth 700gp). Divine scrolls of  eagle's splendor  (worth 150gp) and  owl's wisdom  (worth 150gp). Trade Goods, Art, Gems, and Currency: A Favor Note from Grimgrin, which Axil strongly suspects to be a forgery. A small pile of gemstones: fiery yellow corundum (worth 1000gp), alexandrite (worth 400gp), deep blue spinel (worth 400gp), golden yellow topaz (worth 400gp), golden yellow topaz (worth 200gp), deep green spinel (worth 100gp), jade (worth 100gp), bloodstone (worth 70  110gp), carnelian (worth 60gp), chalcedony (worth 60 90gp), rock crystal (worth 60gp), zircon (worth 50 95gp), star rose quartz (worth 40gp), malachite (worth 15gp), lapis lazuli (worth 7gp) 3 rare books on magic:  Arcanopsionic Field Theory ,  A Manual of Essential Magical Art  (in Draconic), and  The Effects of Transmutation on Humanoid Anatomy and Metabolism  (in Draconic), worth 100gp each. An onyx box set with jet stones, worth 1200gp. A solid gold dagger, not useful in combat, worth 1000gp. 26 silver ingots stamped with the sigil of the Golden Sail, worth 5gp each, 130gp total. 5 gold ingots stamped with the sigil of House of Lord Ebano, worth 50gp each. 394 platinum pieces 7636 gold pieces 5 silver pieces The only object that you aren't able to figure out seems to be some sort of magical staff or rod... a thick metal tube, smooth and perfect as only the finest master smith can produce, it has a handle with a trigger attached to one side halfway down like a crossbow, and strange runes painted along another side in a language none of you can read. It seems mostly hollow, save for a heavy object lodged in the back end (assuming the front is the way the grip points), so it may be some sort of magical projectile weapon. It displays a moderate aura of evocation to  detect magic  spells. Map note WP-6.
Josh  said: I endorse this way of doing loot to avoid paperwork. Limar will lay claim to 300 gold coins. 20 platinum. and offers to cut any of the uncut gems. -hiskel has no need for money right now, but claims first reading of  The Effects of Transmutation on Humanoid Anatomy and Metabolism  (in Draconic)   and  may request funding for creating a spell later after she works out the specifics. The chalcedony, bloodstone, and zircon are only partially cut, and could be increased in value by a second cutting, to Limar's trained eye. Hiskel's understanding of transmutation is improved by studying the tome, which is dry but highly detailed. It bears the signs of having been written by an older dragon, well-schooled in the arcane.

Appraise: 13 or Knowledge (history): 22 (For the Benz Knife) Knowledge (nobility): 22 for Grimgrin and to know if the return of a forged Favor Note would be appreciated Ering will claim: 39 platinum pieces and 763 gold pieces (I'm assuming 9 shares for the Wayfinders plus one for the treasury) The arcane scrolls of Pyrotechnics and Gravelord Sword Dance  Kingsman (but only to use it as decoration and as part of his officer uniform)  The wand of ghoul touch (Note that both Kingsman and the wand are low priority for Ering, so if anyone has a better use for them I'd be happy to take away any claims)  Ering also proposes to fill the Waypoint stock with the large quantities of food, and to trade to excess to settlements that may have low reserves for the winter like Base Camp. For Max: Reading the Ghoul Touch spell it seems like the target is paralyzed if they are hit by the melee touch attack, and the fortitude save is only for the stench, am I reading it correctly? EDIT: Ering will also give back the Cloak of Resistance to the Wayfinders, explaining that he has researched a spell that will mimic its effects
Dawi said: Appraise: 13 or Knowledge (history): 22 (For the Benz Knife) Knowledge (nobility): 22 for Grimgrin and to know if the return of a forged Favor Note would be appreciated For Max: Reading the Ghoul Touch spell it seems like the target is paralyzed if they are hit by the melee touch attack, and the fortitude save is only for the stench, am I reading it correctly? Growing up in Skyshroud , Ering remembers his wetnurse telling him tales of Benny Delon to scare him out of being naughty as a child. In the late 1200's CY, the genius swordsmith spent years covertly murdering people in back alleyways and hovels. He forged 288 special knives for this purpose, using each for a single murder, and engraving each with its own unique number in the format of BENZ NO.# somewhere on the blade, which is why they came to be known as 'Benz knives'. The blades are all made for Medium creatures (as Delon was a human), and vary in function from daggers and kukris to sickles and short swords. Thanks to his masterful smithing and deep emotional connection to each blade, they are very resilient against the ravages of time, and all still function well in combat. Some experts have pointed out the similarities between the wicked, exotic shapes of Benz knives, which Delon claimed were inspired by the expressions and screams of his victims, and those of weapons forged by demonic smiths of the Abyss. These blades are often collected by wealthy evil people of taste, particularly assassins, who also value them for how well they hold and deliver poisons. You've also read a bit about Grimgrin, a troglodyte high priest of Laogzed, the evil goddess of his people. He leads a large band of troglodyte raiders from his Temple of Voracity  in the territory of Ishconn, a vassal lord to the Great Power Astarte. His followers are said to breed and ride fiendish monitor lizards in battle, hunting by cover of night with no sources of light, and many bear a false tooth or eye of onyx. His lizardbreeding master is an underpriest named Heathgrin, and his second in command is a priestess named Lorketh who relies on more indirect methods of force such as Gathering duels and kidnapping. Grimgrin and his raiders are said to capture people and bring them back for sacrifice, or give them to Ishconn and his undead hordes. They're deadly and unpredictable foes, so it's hard to say how they'd react to the return of a forged favor note... And yes, that's the correct reading of the spell. Kraggan recommends Limar take the solid gold dagger to use as his first offering to Io once a shrine can be built and linked. "As I recall, Io is a god of wealth as well as peace, so a precious weapon that cannot be wielded should be perfect for Him, right?" She'll claim the dagger herself for that purpose if Limar doesn't want it, but otherwise is satisfied with the hides of Zorall and his children as her share. She also has some arrowheads made from some of Zorall's leftover scales. Leoavor doesn't mind if Ering claims the gravelord sword dance  scroll first, but is interested in copying it from his book after he learns it. He also wants to claim the arcane scroll of calm emotions , the red dragonscale vest, and 500 gold pieces or so. He also harvests various tissues from Zorall for spell components, with Kraggan's help. He suggests setting aside the Gathering cards and Hand of Glory for Drusilia as well, since she'll likely want to buy them from the guild when she returns from her mission for the Companions. Finally, he wants the books kept as guild assets in the Waypoint 's library , and agrees that most of the food and other general supplies should be kept, with some excess sold to merchants. "Natural economic forces should ensure they get to the towns that need them most," he explains, "so it's most efficient to just sell them to the river traders who come up the canal ." Hamanap wants the alexandrite, deep blue spinel, and onyx box.  Axil is interested in Sarai's Benz knife, and the dragonscale vest as well. Jargon asks for 200gp worth of coin, and an equivalent amount donated to the poor in Waterwend , Bowhery , and Base Camp . Hunter asks nothing, saying "My life is payment enough, a second chance to do what I must."
Limar will put the gold dagger aside for a offering to Io, whenever that happens.
Has everyone claimed anything they want from the loot? If so, I'll put the rest into the vault.
The rest of the loot has been sorted into the vault! Leoavor took the vest and Axil ended up taking the Cloak of Elvenkind instead. Leo also later copied gravelord sword dance  from Ering's spellbook (though he did not taken the scroll of calm emotions , after realizing it was meant for a different sort of caster).
Upon the guildmistress's return from the south, she revealed another secret surprise... "Before I left, I had Asgeifr forge me this armor from Zorall's hide, as you know," she prefaces, displaying her beautiful red dragonscale breastplate. "But I also brought him a load of the dragonlord's bones, for another purpose." Unloading a heavy, rolled and bound blanket from Adria, she unfurls it to reveal a set of beautiful weapons forged from deep red dragonbone shot through with veins of gold. Kraggan points to each in turn, naming them: the longbow, Rakath; the dagger, Kurila; the longsword, Garmot; the morningstar, Prolgu; and the sickle, Yarnak. "Rakath and Kurila are for me, but the other three are my gifts to the guild. Anyone who fought with us in the Storming of the Waypoint may use them so long as they are a Wayfinder. Asgeifr assured me that each is a true magic weapon, cold-forged and entirely immune to heat or flame." Looking over them, you can see that a set of 6 runes run along Garmot's blade (which Hiskel knows are Dwarven letters), and that Prolgu's head seems to be made from Zorall's anklebone, with his teeth as spikes set into the vertices of each of 20 carved-flat sides around it. "Collectively, the set is called The Zoralltu," Kraggan says proudly. "They shall mark our passage into triumph, as a true power of the Catacombs."
After their various side-adventures, Xankoris and Ering have also learned some new tricks that may come in handy against Rizdar the Storm: Xankoris: supernatural ability to summon a Medium air elemental for 1/rd per caster level once per week with a DC15 Concentration check learn touch of the void (Magic of Rokugan 052), touch of all (MOR052), and look into the void (MOR041) Ering: level 3 bonus spell per day Enlarge Spell [Metamagic] and Concentration Spell [Metamagic] (full text below) Concentration Spell [Metamagic] Benefit: You can alter a spell so that when its duration ends, you can maintain the spell as long as you concentrate on it. A spell that already has a duration involving concentration cannot be so modified. A concentration spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell’s actual level.
Limar has improved his combat skills as well, from hunting Tuktuk goblins with Lezirak as well as helping Cora and Alphonzo exterminate savage creatures from the depths of his Stonefare . He gained the Weapon Specialization (claw) feat.
After rest and recuperation, those who raided Rizdar's Castle find their abilities have improved from so much deadly battle, and in some cases the blessings of their deities... Avariel gains +1 Str, +1 Dex, and +4 to saves vs fatigue/exhaustion and death effects. Balthasar gets +2 Dex and 10 skill points, and has mastered Dodge, Mobility, and Shot on the Run. He's also gotten fast enough to fire his Rod of Magic Missile once per round. Edmund has gotten tougher, gaining +1 Con, +1 Int, Toughness, Lightning Reflexes. Xankoris's deepening connection with Siwan now allows him to call upon the elementa's Deathmantle form a second time each day, and each time the power can now be activated as an immediate action instead of a free action. He and Siwan have also developed a new fighting style together... by harnessing an echo of abilities held by one of the lives Siwan took ("Bear" of the Cult of Venca), the mantle's 'hood' extends to conceals Xankoris's face with bear-like mask. This mode can be activated as a free action, and lasts as long as the Deathmantle form does. In Bearmode, the Deathmantle's other powers cannot be activated (though its passive benefits still apply), but in exchange Xankoris gets a +2 competence bonus to attack and damage rolls and a +2 dodge bonus to AC. Isora has blessed her Champion with a +4 bonus to Fort saves and to Concentration checks vs weather effects; 3 times per day, Xankoris can now apply his Silent Spell feat to a lv0-3 spell without increasing its spell level (still takes a full-round action to cast). Ering has gained +1 Int, +1 Cha, 5 skill points, and learned Spell Focus (Transmutation), Augment Summoning, and Lightning Reflexes. All the firsthand experience directing his allies in combat has improved his leadership as well, in the form of a new ability: Battle Command (ex): Once per day, as a swift action, Ering can begin haranguing, ordering, directing, encouraging, cajoling, or calming his allies to encourage specific military tactics by choosing one Battle Command Style. While doing this, he grants all intelligent allies within 60' who can hear and understand him a bonus equal to his Int bonus on certain rolls depending on the Style chosen. If Ering is not currently engaged in battle, this effect ends. He starts with the following Style options:     Battle Command Style (Warcraft): Ering can grant his Battle Command bonus to disarm, trip, bull rush, and sunder attempts.     Battle Command Style (Gut It Out): Ering can grant his Battle Command bonus to Fortitude saves. Sidsaspi has grown stronger, gaining +2 Str and a lv3 bonus spell. He's also learned a new lv2 spell and 2 new lv1 spells. Nola has blessed Wrad with a lv2 bonus spell, a +4 bonus to saves vs death effects, and access to a third domain. Additionally, Wrad can use lesser restoration twice per day as a spell-like ability, with a caster level equal to his cleric level.
After some rest and recuperation, those who mounted the Iron Citadel  on Celene  to face Rizdar the Storm and Tenebrous find their abilities have improved from so much deadly battle, and in some cases from the blessings of their grateful deities... Avariel gains +1 Wis and +1 Cha, masters the feats Cleave and Dodge, and develops the ability Stalwart.     Stalwart (ex): Choose an ally to get a +2 cover bonus to AC as long as you are within 5' of them and not flat-footed. Can change chosen ally as a move action. Isora grants Xankoris the ability to cast spells related to weather at +2 caster level, and any electricity damage he deals is now increased by +5 within 100' of the shore of a natural body of water. She also imbues him with the knowledge to pray for flight of doves (Magic of Rokugan 035), gathering swirl (MOR036), and awaken the spirit (MOR025) but the last can only be cast 1/day. His practice with the Deathmantle has helped him and Siwan develop another new fighting style, too: Harnessing an echo of abilities held by one of the lives Siwan took (Hawk of the Cult of Venca), the mantle's 'hood' extends to conceals Xankoris's face with hawk-like mask and forms a scythe in his hand or on his back out of concentrated darkness. Can be activated as a free action, and lasts as long as the Deathmantle form does. In Hawkmode, the Deathmantle's other powers cannot be activated, but in exchange Xankoris gets a +6 competence bonus to Hide and Move Silently checks, and can wield the Shadowscythe proficiently using Cha instead of Str for attack and damage rolls with it. The Shadowscythe cannot harm him or his equipment, and vanishes then reappears sheathed on his back if it loses contact with his body while in this mode. It otherwise functions like Bearmode. Ering has mastered the Battle Command Style (Force of Will): He can now grant his Battle Command bonus to Will saves. He has also learned Extend Spell [Metamagic], and Wee Jas has blessed him with  Reaping Spell [Metamagic] (though in lieu of the prerequisite, the modified spell gains the [evil] descriptor). Sidsaspi has gained +1 Int, a full grasp of Common, 3 bonus skill points, and a +6 bonus to Knowledge and Heal checks related to chirurgery. He can take his next level in Yuan-ti Abomination Paragon, using the rules for Racial Paragon Levels in Unearthed Arcana and the following level information: BaB +1, Fort +0, Ref +2, Will +2, Aversion, +2 racial bonus to Hide checks.     Aversion (psi-like): Three times per day, a yuan-ti abomination paragon can psionically create a compulsion effect targeting one creature within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a Will save or gain an aversion to snakes for 10 minutes. Affected creatures must stay at least 20 feet away from any snake or yuan-ti, alive or dead; if already within 20 feet, they move away. A subject unable to move away, or one attacked by snakes or yuan-ti, is overcome with revulsion. This revulsion reduces the creature’s Dexterity score by 4 points until the effect wears off or the subject is no longer within 20 feet of a snake or yuan-ti. This ability is otherwise similar to the psionic power aversion (manifester level equal to your HD). The save DC is Charisma-based. Nola blesses Wrad with resist cold equal to HD, the ability to ignore concealment in bright illumination from natural sunlight or a [light] spell of at least 3rd level, +15' distance illuminated for each level from [light] spells he casts, gain access to pray for great chaos fireball  as his lv4 Fire domain spell, and the ability to use a copper ingot (weighing at least 1 lb) as a power component to give any spell he casts +1 caster level. He has also gained +1 Str and +1 Con.      great chaos fireball : Sor/Wiz 5, Chaos 4, Fire 4     Evocation [Chaos, Fire] Components: V, S, M/DF Duration: 1 round/level Saving Throw: Reflex half Spell Resistance: Yes
Casting Time: 1 full-round action Range: Close (25 ft. + 5 ft/2 levels) Effect: 10' radius burst of fire and melted rock     You call forth flame and elemental chaos in your palm before hurling them down to explode on contact, dealing 1d6 points of fire damage per caster level (maximum 15d6) to everything in the area of the burst. Any rock or soil in the area is also melted by the destabilizing heat, turning to molten lava to a depth of 1 ft and cooling 1d3 rounds later. The lava itself is not magical but presents all the normal dangers it would in nature (DMG304), and this may cause things to catch fire, collapse walls or ceilings, etc. Limar gains blessings from several of the different Dragon deities he worships.     Tamara grants him the power that, if he drinks a potion of any cure spell, he may choose to forgo the normal effects and instead, in the following round he can replace his breath weapon's normal energy type and damage with positive energy of the same amount as the potion.     Falazure grants him the ability to, 1/day as immediate action, apply the effect of death knell to a creature left dying by his breath weapon (still counts as a supernatural ability, caster level for all effects equals his racial HD).     Bahamut blesses him with +2 Wis, a +4 bonus to saves against weather effects, a +10' bonus to natural fly speed. He also grants him the power that, if he swallows a gold ingot (weighing at least 1 lb) as a standard action, in the following round he can use his breath weapon as a line of lightning. From his own growth, he has gained +3 to his leadership score, mastered the Exhaled Barrier [Breath] (ROD101) feat and and Deep Breath ability.     Deep Breath (Ex): If he visibly inhales as a move action before using a breath weapon in the same round, it gets +2 damage dice and +2 DC to any saves against it.
As of Patchwall 28th: The gleaming silver spurs (map note IC-3) that Avariel wore back were identified by Leoavor as Lancer's Spurs of Heironeous (Complete Champion 139). They make the attacks of their wearer's mount magical, and the effect is amplified if the wearer is a paladin. They are worth about 12000 gold pieces as a set. The black metal ring set with a small ruby (map note IC-4) that was worn by the first priestess of Nerull killed in Charnel Hound fight was divined to be evil by Avariel, and identified by Leoavor as a Vile Weapon Ring (Book of Vile Darkness 113). Each melee attack made by its wearer deals an extra point of vile damage--this damage is deeply evil and corrupting, and can only be healed by magic cast within the area of a consecrate or hallow spell. It is worth about 20000 gold pieces. The fine trident (map note IC-6) that was found sheathed on a victim absorbed by the Charnel Hound was divined to be evil by Avariel, and identified by Leoavor as a +1 trident made of infernal steel, forged in one of the Nine Hells . It has a severe and simplistic design, but there is a cold brutality to it, and it counts as an evil-aligned weapon. It is worth about 2700 gold pieces. The small brass trumpet (map note IC-2) and fine flail (map note IC-7) were tragically lost when Otu, who was carrying them, was crushed under a giant piece of the collapsing ceiling.

The loot from Rizdar's castle, to be shared among the raid team from that assault (or anyone else who wants to buy in): 8 stone coffers of electrum coins (each contains 1200 electrum pieces worth 600gp in total; Limar wants one) A Suloise puzzle lock depicting Dalt (Appraise needed, Chinara wants to buy it) A huge pearl (very high value, maybe several thousand gp? map note RC-1, Xankoris wants it for Carnasi's spell to cleanse his Taint) A magic harrier scroll from Shouyo, wrapped around a wooden core and sealed with an ofuda (contains a special summoning spell: once unfurled, it will automatically teleport Shouyo to the scroll's location, then send him back 10 minutes later) A nasty poem from Rizdar, written calligraphically on parchment: "Castles, gardens, gold, and jewels Contentment signify, for fools Like Wayfinders; but those Who cultivate their wit Like Rizdar and his students red Compile their power bit by bit Till gods and men rise from the dead" Some of Rizdar's notes from the weeks leading up to the assault (left out to be easily found) Rizdar's private journal (decoded by Ederc) A great pile of books, mostly related to magic and astronomy (to be added to the Stone River Waypoint's library, except perhaps for the duplicate copes of Innovative Theurgy for Magi , The Binding of Outsiders in Draconic,   and  Unearthed Arcana  in Draconic) The primary spellbooks of Idris and Sarah Lentarin, 2 of Rizdar's slain apprentices (to be added to the Stone River Waypoint's library)
Ering has fully translated the primary  spellbooks of Idris and Sarah Lentarin,  2 of Rizdar's slain apprentices. A note can be found in each one, now on the shelves of the Stone River Waypoint's library, listing a table of their contents for easy reference. Both have locks built into their covers, which have been picked (the keys were not found, though). Sarah's: Lv0: All Core cantrips except for illusion and necromancy schools Lv1: alarm, animate rope, charm person, comprehend languages, earthbind , endure elements, entice gift , erase, feather fall, hypnotism, mage armor, Nystul's magic aura, protection from law, sleep, summon monster I, unseen servant, wave blessing Lv2: daze monster, fox's cunning, glitterdust, gust of wind, scorching ray, Tasha's hideous laughter, torrent of tears , touch of idiocy, whispering wind Lv3: deep slumber, dispel magic, fireball, hold person, rage, stinking cloud, suggestion Idris's: Lv0: All Core cantrips except for conjuration and enchantment schools, plus  an unusual cantrip,  spark . Lv1: alarm, burning hands, cause fear, detect secret doors, enlarge person, erase, hold portal, identify, instant locksmith , magic missile, Nystul's magic aura, protection from good, shocking grasp, Tenser's floating disk, true casting Lv2: continual flame, flaming sphere, fox's cunning, gust of wind, locate object, scorching ray, see invisibility, shatter Lv3: daylight, fireball, Leomund's tiny hut, lightning bolt, reverse arrows , shadow tendrils, wind wall  Remember that spells from outside your core+1 sourcebook set can be learned from captured spellbooks like these, though not from the spellbooks of another PC who got them from their +1 book.  In addition to the spells scribed in them, the books include copious notes, personal thoughts, arcane and herbal diagrams, and sketches of various creatures.  Sarah's journaling includes  many strange clues to the nature of Red Wizardry (especially regarding enchantment), anatomical drawings and conceptual mind-maps of various humanoids, lists of Rizdar's guards she's experimented on with enchantments, notes on the best ways to combat the forces of Selene the Succubus and Hesilith with her spells, and memories of her time in the Mages College of Kentwing. There's also a bunch of dirt on her noble family, House Lentarin, in Kentwing, including how her father, the elderly Lord James Lentarin and his middle-aged wife Amelia disinherited her after she ran out on an arranged betrothal to apprentice herself to Rizdar, and how their first son and heir, Harrinold Lentarin, owns a livewood bedframe with a dryad named Pringa inside it, and keeps her as a sex slave with the constant threat of burning the frame (and thus her with it) if she refuses his nightly abuses (though Sarah seemed more disgusted by the miscegenation than the rape). Idris's journaling: also many strange clues to the nature of Red Wizardry (though more regarding evocation), records of his specialist tutoring from Rizdar, complaints about the Red Illusionist apprentice Caz's laziness, allusions to the Red Diviner apprentice Quentin watching for signs of some prophecy involving Carnasi the Golden. There are more notes on enemies Selene the Succubus and Hesilith, their forces and abilities, plus lots of notes and details about painters and sculptors he liked, prices of paintings and sculptures he wanted to commission, calculations for patronizing artists, and a detailed list of the items and their values in his art collection.
Deal never changed for Sidsaspi, anything i get goes to pay my foundation and substantial needs. The sketches and test results of various creatures would be great add-on  to update the medical journal for those who saw it  .   (Unless someone as conciderable know: planes,  i can be a decent ressource for demonic lore since i flayed to bring some here before i became a renegade of the kult)

Roll Heal and Craft (drawing) for these, respectively.

The letters and the books from Felosial will go in the Guild library, but you also needs to decide what to do with these: Slaying Arrow (black, "Grimgrin" painted in white along the side, worth 2282gp) Moonblood warpaint (1 jar, Book of Exalted Deeds p38, worth 1500gp)
As with the others, Leoavor strongly suggests keeping Leila's spellbook in the  Waypoint 's  library  as a Guild assets. It includes the following spells:    Lv0: All Core cantrips except for those from the abjuration and enchantment schools   Lv1: color spray, comprehend languages, erase, grease, identify, mage armor, mount, Nystul's magic aura, obscuring mist , repair light damage ,  silent image, summon monster I, Tenser's floating disk, unseen servant   Lv2: false life, glitterdust, gust of wind, locate object, resist energy, scorching ray, shatter, silence, web     Lv3: call darkness (see below) icelance , Leomund's tiny hut, phantom steed, sleet storm, stinking cloud, summon monster III   Lv4: enervation, Evard's black tentacles, fire shield, illusory wall, minor creation, summon monster IV   Lv5: summon monster V, teleport In addition to the spells scribed in it, the book includes copious notes, personal thoughts, arcane diagrams, and sketches of various creatures.  Leila put down lots of writing in Abyssal and Infernal, many notes about fiendish monsters and devils for summoning, the recipe for creating a homunculus, complaints about Immrei's impudent and sexual advances as well as Caz's laziness, musing about a guardsman she was having casual sex with, allusions to Quentin watching for signs of some prophecy involving Carnasi the Golden, a list of her favorite books in Rizdar's extensive arcane library (most related to conjuration and the planes), rough sketches of some enemy fortresses and notes on best ways to assault them (including the Stone River Waypoint, circa its Storming), some notes on Wintermute, Selene the Succubus, Hesilith, and Laerte of the Third Eye, and their forces and abilities. It seems to have been redacted in many places, possibly with erase spells, and doesn't mention anything specific to Red Wizardry. From the spells and her journaling, Leoavor and Ering deduce that Leila was a Red Conjurer, with abjuration, enchantment, and later transmutation as her prohibited schools.  Remember that spells from outside your core+1 sourcebook set can be learned from captured spellbooks like these, though not from the spellbooks of another PC who got them from their +1 book.
Does she actually have silence as a second level spell? Is that not bard and cleric only?
Dawi said: Does she actually have silence as a second level spell? Is that not bard and cleric only? She actually does, yes. To Ering's Spellcraft analysis, it seems like reverse-engineering of the arcane version of the spell, converted from subtle bardic aesthetics to the rigid mechanics of arcane spellbook notation. He's never seen that done with silence , but heard of it being performed on other spells with extensive research and development. He thinks he should be able to learn it from her spellbook in the normal way, now that all the legwork was completed. Red Wizards, man.

As Otu was tragically killed by a falling chunk of the Iron Citadel in the aftermath of Tenebrous' defeat, his share was not alloted.
