They died from the disease, I lived. The monks of the Blue Hills found me laying next to my parents near death. They took me in healed me and raised me. I spent years training in the Way of Opin Fais(named after the founder of the order). The combat training was the only thing that really appealed to me. I couldn't stand the monasteries ascetic ways and was constantly looking for ways to supplement my income (which was basically food). While fighting was acceptable, fighting for money wasnt. Id always had a fascination for valuable objects which only grew as I got older. This fascination led to increased tensions with those of the order. Before things got too out of hand I decided to leave the monastery and make my own ,hopefully more profitable, way. Oh! Did I mention Im terrified of mushrooms?
