A group of soldiers are put behind enemy lines with no clue as to how they got there and must return. This combined with the nature of Anima's game world allows for interesting combinations. We will be playing weekly voice sessions and I also take full advantage of roll20 and also do between session forum posting and between session RP on discord. (The between-session stuff isn't required.) The only real requirements is that you are able to make every week; nothing kills a game faster than players constantly missing. The Soldiers are a peacekeeping force meant to defend against Goldar raiders. The Empire of Abel has its main focus set towards the south due to several principalities declaring independence and Dalaborn, a principality of The Empire of Abel, has honored thier call to war. Dalaborn cannot go at war with Goldar, so that is the position that the players are in: an inexperienced force, meant to only defend, is put deep into hostile territory and they have to find their way back. Anima Beyond Fantasy's world, Gaia, focuses on the players being agents of Human society and caught up in Supernatural events. Despite being a fantasy realm, Gaia's Humans have all but eliminated everything supernatural in their world and only recently are supernatural events truly coming back. Players are humans who find themselves between these two worlds: Humans and the Supernatural. Players must make decisions about both human world and the supernatural both of which cannot coexist anymore.
