I've been around Roll20 for a couple of months now. I've logged a lot of hours into five separate campaigns. My MMO buddies got me hooked on Pathfinder using the Roll20 system, and I have to say - i love it. The thing is; they always seem to have an excuse as to why some can't play. That's fine; I can't blame 'em. Real life should come first. But, I have the taste for it now, and I want more. Our GM just contracted a pretty nasty STD (she just had a kid..), so she's out of the the picture for a while. I'm not sure how this goes, so I'll give a little information about my availability, a little about me personally, my preferred character, and preferred playstyle: //Edit: I just started a new Monday game. I'm just looking for more time throughout the week to play! AVAILABILITY: - I'm looking for a game tonight. Right now, if there's one available. I'm available nights and weekends if you wish to continue (Except for Mon, Tues. and Thurs.. Tues. and Thurs. are flexible. Not sure if GM is coming back.) I play in GMT -6 Time Zone. (US, Central Time) ABOUT ME: - I'd say that I'm at the "intermediate" level in terms of experience. A good GM would make all the difference. I'm an immersioner / RPer in MMOs, so I have a lot of "experience" with my preferred character's personae. I'm aware of the potential in RP for Meta-gaming, God-Moding, etc., and feel as if I do a very good job at not coming across that way. - I'm over 30, but my inner child pretty much runs the place! :P PREFERRED CHARACTER: - I would prefer to use a Psionic class. I spent a lot of time preparing a starting Pathfinder Psionic, and I'm very pleased with it. It kind of ties into the "personae" that I've been RPing with in the past. I know many DM's dislike psionics. But it's what I know, and what I like. I'm not opposed to a different class of course. I just really like psionics. //Edit: I also have a prepared 3.5 character sheet ready to rock. //Edit 2 : Same goes for 4e. Just got a new character done today. - I'd be willing to message my character sheet to whomever would like to see it. Obviously, some changes may have to be made depending on the GM's method of character creation / point allotment, and interpretation of the variable rules of the class. - I have a fully-completed Level 1 character sheet for my class, and a very detailed backstory for my character. - I'm not interested in a pre-made backstory or pre-made characters . Immersion is important to me. Roelon's story is very much within canon, and is very adaptable. I'm fine with changes for the good of the campaign, but I have a broad, general template that I would like to stick to. PREFERRED PLAYSTYLE: - I'd prefer that the campaign spans multiple sessions, but no longer than say, four hours or so a session. - I'm ok with multiple sessions per week. - Having only played a few games in the past, I'm not sure if these even needs to be said - but I'd prefer an RP-style game. I'd prefer to play with MATURE people. That's a relative term, of course, but it's important. Twenty-somethings and up comes to mind, but I don't want to be so limiting. - I'm ok with homebrew rules - but nothing too crazy. I'd prefer to stick with "normal" stuff. - I don't know why I need to say this - but... I've been asked before. No. I'm not OK with ERP. Keep the In-character sex stuff private. It's just friggin weird. Anyway - feel free to message me here. I'l make sure I receive email alerts, and should be able to respond quickly. (Things like the 7 stages of hell - one of them being "Lust" is totally fine. Sexual, graphic representations; Fine. All I mean is that I'm not into developing and consummating sexual relationships in-character. ...Believe me, I wouldn't have posted this if it hadn't been an issue in the past.) GM: It's important to me that you're intelligent and adaptive. I'm looking for immersion. I would hope that the GM that chooses me is the type that spends a lot of time crafting the world's setting (e.g.: the game maps / history, etc.) I have TS, Skype, Vent, Mumble and a working mic.
