In the last episode, our heroes "The Blanket Fort Crew" came face
to face with the source of all the misery and darkness in the lands of Barovia,
Strahd Von Zarovich himself. The Blanket Fort Crew immediately dove into
action, holding several vampire spawns at bay before their revenant ally,
lovingly named George, as well several Raven Swarms came to their aid.
As the crew entered St. Andral's Church, they were greeted with the horrific
sight of the mangled corpse of Father Lucian as well as Laela being held
captive by Strahd through some magical means. Despite their best efforts Strahd
did not seem to be harmed by any of their attacks. Viewing our heroes as little
more than insects, Strahd paid the heroes little mind as he used his profane
powers to animate several angelic statues to distract them before escaping with
Laela, despite their best attempts at keeping her away from Strahd.
Left to deal with the loss of their Eladrin Elf Cleric ally, as well as the
desecrated church, the Blanket Fort Crew clearly have much to do and so much
more to learn...
