I have about a decade of assorted RPG experience. However, said experience was often truncated by games just crashing due to people leaving or DMs becoming disillusioned due to the hardships of DMing. I would DM something myself, but my experiences have shown me so far that i too often fall into the pits of feature-creep where it comes to awesome stuff and 'MORE SIDEQUESTS' to include as they develop from player actions. I generally aspire to be a good player, meaning but not being limited to: - Staying in character when needed (decision making etc) - Not optimizing too much - Not being stubborn about wanting to play my way - Filling roles as necessary and finding ways to make that work with different character concepts. - Trying to keep the mood light within the game if possible I tend to gravitate more towards utility characters with abilities that can be used outside of combat or with interesting effects (DM permitting) inside combat. (Environment-inclusion in combat, using spell effects with physics etc). Game systems I have played before and liked: - D&D 3.5, 4E, 5E, Pathfinder - The old Marvel Roleplaying system (FASERIP) (Love this one) - Heroes Unlimited (really like this one as well) - Mutants and Masterminds 2E, 3E - Wild Talents - Call of Cthulhu - Rogue Trader - World of Darkness (though barely enough to not go in the miscellaneous category) - A bunch more that i however have too little experience to even count.
