Hello. I've recently had some bad luck trying to fill a slot, after a player left due to a work schedule conflict. This game has been going on for a few months, and the players, including the new person who fills the spot, will be level 8 (close to 9). However, we try to be as welcoming as we can, and don't tell lots of insider-jokes, or long rambling stories of past adventures. I have nothing against that sort of thing, but I just want it to be understood that new group members will find their place easily, and not be "the outsider" or what-have-you.
