Hunckered in a wooded area just Northwest of the city's boundary the subjects in good standing fulfilling their feudal duty to Lady Forwood start scouting for ways to make further their escape from the HAR and HAD operations. The mysterious third party has come in with heavy equipment burning drone after drone still so many of these drones were propelled as an army via artillery into the area that those that are moving are in danger. Scouting the different directions one team came across a spider like drone that then opened up tearing apart part of the forest along with Joséphine’s leg. Fortunately it was only a flesh wound and she only went unconscious. Jack, who was sneaking right next to the robotic creature, then went into action trying to blast it away with a quick barrage. It only slightly harmed the device and soon the turret was swinging to blast him again. He jumped on while the turret kept spinning losing his rifle, with one hand wrapped around the gun and the turret and his other grabbing his sidearm he blasted the gun several times, then the side guns and finally put the remaining rounds through the control panel ending its mechanical existence. Meanwhile Nisha had sent one of her drones forth to find out what laid ahead and discovered that the drone menace was being blasted away by even larger machines of death. Krista checked the north route and found a lake, a canoe in the lake and a body hunched over in that canoe. She quickly flew to that canoe, looked for traps (what?) and pushed it to shore. She carried the body, which she discovered that the man had been shot several times but was still alive, while flying up the cliff. Just as she was getting away she noticed a leg of one of those mechanical drones step out of the water and start to try to climb this cliff. She made haste, perhaps not being discovered and the group reconvened. The most honorable subjects of Arlington then decided the best course of action was to travel north. So after ambushing the drone and dispatching with extreme prejudice our fearless team stood right at the cliff handing over the water looking out at how they thought they would finally leave the city in flames behind with but a canoe and their will to survive.Will that bullet move a bit more to a vital organ killing off Jack? Will the invisibility mode that doesn’t exist reveal Krista in her exo? Will the craziness that most the players possess freeze them up right when they think they have escaped?
