This means he might be a cleric one adventure, a fighter another, and so on... Until the end of the campaign or his purpose is full-filled. Ok that works and sounds interesting. I was gonna let you each keep Player-based XP anyway.  So you can transfer your XP when you die or get a new PC, or new incarnation in this case. This way the overall "game" still has the Level Advancement feeling, even if you change chars.
I'm loving this idea of ours... It's like Land of the Lost... Meets Sliders... Meets Doctor Who... Meets Burning Man with a dash of Futurama! I'm also down on the brutal nature of it too. Dragonfly my ass... More like a Dragonfly sized dragon with poison breath.

Here is the de-coded Dragonfly adventure.  The song title was Dragonfly.  First you encountered mosquitoes. Then you encountered black flies. Then you encountered regular dragonflies. Then you heard the song "Dragonfly" in the tavern and got the rumor of the Lord Of The Flies. Finally, your main opponent was the Dragon-Fly.  It was supposed to be a combination of a Dragon, Dragonfly, and Black Fly.  That was my concept and reading of the song for DnD terms. I was planning to make a special Token for it -- a dragonfly body with a Dragon head -- but I didn't get around to making the graphic and had to use a regular Giant Dragonfly for the token.
Per Angband Monsters: The Giant black dragon fly The size of a large bird, this fly drips caustic acid. This natural creature moves extremely erratically. It is rarely detected by telepathy. It is always created sluggish. It may breathe acid; 1 time in 10. It can bash down doors. It resists acid. It tends to overlook intruders, which it may notice from 120 feet. It has no physical attacks. Yeah I was thinking about this the whole time...
