HOWDY DOODLES! Welcome to the thread. I am the dm of several on-going campaigns happening side by side in the same world called "The Ilderon Tales." We just had a recent shake up with two members leaving one of our groups randomly without any hints towards their departure and I would really like to fill their roles by tomorrow night (10-16-17) before the session so we don't have to pause the story. A little bit about the group : Group 3 meets every other monday night at 6:30pm CST. Currently their group is composed of 2 members. There is the cleric noble woman whose noble family is akin to the mafia and she's trying to work to break ties with her family and improve her family's public image. Then there is the barbarian smuggler who works for the mafia family as a means towards an end. He wants to raise enough money to start a business smuggling slaves to freedom and killing slavers. About the story : Currently the group attacked random NPC who turned out to be a vampire lord in disguise, after they found out they were in over their head the NPC agreed to spare them if they did a task for him. They were given the name of one of their dearest friends who they accidentally got thrown in jail and told to assassinate them before the jailers could move her to a more secure dungeon. They are currently planning a jail break instead and will cross the bridge of dealing with the upset vampire when they get to it. About the world : Ilderon is a homebrewed campaign setting. The world is characterized by how active the gods are in mortal affairs, as deities regularly walk among their mortal subjects. The world is enjoying its longest running era of peace, however several covert organizations are threatening that peace. If you are interested in playing please post here or in our thread , or send me a message. I will be trying to vigorously recruit, and I will work hand in hand with you to get you a character with a well flushed out backstory that fits the setting and who is seamlessly woven into the world. If you have ever joined a campaign and quit three sessions later save us the time and don't bother applying. Our favorite part of D&D is in depth RP and story telling, and we're telling an epic and big story and people who join and leave like those last two players ruin that for everyone else. Links below to our wiki with info on the world and campaign , and youtube with videos of old sessions. I look forward to meeting, talking with, and playing with you!
