Dynamic Tokens - Passive Perception

It would be interesting to have tokens be hidden unless a character's Passive Perception is equal to or greater than that of a hidden tokens Stealth. This way a GM can set up traps, doors or monsters on a layer that is not seen by players unless their Passive Perception allows it. Each token would have its own Stealth score of sorts, basically a Difficulty Class set by the GM. Most tokens would default to 0, seen by all players, where other tokens could set to higher numbers depending on the GM's discretion. The tokens would be on the token layer so the GM does not need to jump from layer to layer to hide or show it. It would also be nice to have it when you right click a token to auto set it to 0(seen) or 1000(hidden to all). A GM would be able to edit a tokens Passive Perception or Stealth from the Advanced tab. It would also be nice to have a checkbox in the Advanced tab to make a token Invisible and one to See Invisibility. An invisible token would remain on the token layer and not be moved to the DM layer, as a player with the ability to see invisible would still be able to see it. Sorry for any grammar or spelling errors. I did my best to convey my thoughts, hope it is understandable.

This sort of thing wouldn't be very system agnostic since not every system uses D&D5 style passive perception. So, I doubt the devs are going to ever add any support for this sort of thing. I would recommend checking out my  It's A Trap script from the API library for doing this though! With it you can easily set up hidden objects that only get noticed if a character's passive perception is high enough. Currently it supports passive perception for D&D 5, D&D 3.5, D&D 4, Pathfinder, Gamma World 7, and World of Darkness Classic.
