Severe Chrome Lag Across All Campaigns

As the title says, I've been having unbearable lag in all of my games when using chrome. The issue began about a month ago, and I experience it in all of my current games (five of them), only two of which I'm GM for. One or two might have large chats, but even after clearing chats and making sure maps are not excessively large/excess characters are vaulted/etc., the same about of lag persists. It only  happens in-game, not on the rest of the Roll20 website, and Firefox is free of issues (though I really dislike using it). I've restarted my computer, done a fresh install of Chrome, and even tried adding "?disablewebgl=true" to the end of the url like suggested in  this very old link. I've disabled all extensions & add-ons and cleared my cache. I'm running Chrome v. 61.0.3163.100 on Windows 10 Pro, and have a Console Log available I can provide (though it's so long I didn't want to put it in the top post here.) If anyone has any other ideas for solutions, I'd be so grateful. what kind of ttg-hating ghost is haunting my system??
Try toggling Hardware Acceleration in Chrome (turn it Off if it is On, turn it On if it is Off). Some people have had success with that. Not sure if you mean the actual Character Vault when you mentioned "vaulting" characters. Archiving characters does not really help; putting them in the Character Vault and deleting the character from the game does help. I know you said you had disabled all add-ins and extensions, but be sure you are not using LastPass. That one can create lag in Chrome. Hope something in this helps!
Thanks, yeah I did mean archiving (I got confused by all of the other posts I'd read that were speaking of vaulting)! That said, that wasn't the problem: because it's now fixed! I toggled the Hardware Acceleration back on after having turned it off about a week ago, and also used the experimental chrome feature to override the software rendering list. After restarting Chrome, all of the in-game lag that was present before is gone! (In fact, it might even be working better than it was before...?) Thanks for the tip!
