Hi :) Me and some friends want to try tabletop games with this site. I downloaded this module because it's free and in the description I read thet is a good tutorial for newbies :D The question is: do I also need the D&D manual? Or can I only use the module PDF?

As 5e now has a basic SRD ruleset out there you should be fine to run the module with the in game information coupled with the freely available basic rules. For more detailed and in depth characters you'll benefit from having the core rule books but as it stands, not essential :)

The module also has some notes on the rules for you to learn while playing, but i think the pdf would be easier to read
