New to D&D LFG willing to work with a new person

Hi my name is Steven. I am looking to try and get with a group of players that don't mind teaching a new player how the game works and how to play. I have loved the idea behind D&D for a long time, the fact that your imagination plays such a large part of the game has always held my interest and i have just recently decided that i want to start playing.  I would be free to play either Friday or Saturday night any time after 6PM EST. I am currently serving in the military so occasionally something may come up that takes me away from a game night if that does happen i will be able to give at least a weeks notice that i would have to miss a session, however this really shouldn't be an issue.  So if you have a group that you feel like I could fit into please let me know. I am really looking forward to getting to play and learn. If you have any other questions you have of me just let me know.
