Fast way to bring up Character Sheets

I want a fast way to bring up the character without constantly going to Journal/Characters and then back to Chat, ideally through the token.  A way to minimize or iconify a character sheet A way to get to the character sheet through the token A more condensed UI character sheet.  The current one takes up way to much screen space.  The Character Sheet abilities Show In Macro Bar should be in the Edit Character Sheet and not the Character Sheet itself. Right now everything is work great for the character side.  I just built a template and put it in a open page and let the players customize them.  They only manage that one sheet and it works fine. On the GM side though where you manage multiple NPC character sheets it is kinda clunky.  I created a character sheet for the NPC with all the abilities and stats for it and attach them to the tokens. The problem is that you have to continually go open and close the sheet from the Journal tab and if you have a lot of different types of NPCs it is a pain when you want to use their macro abilities.  The macro bar works OK if you have only 5 or 6 of them, but once you get over 10 it becomes hard to use.
Seconded, especially bullet point 1.
I suggested the bullet points 1 & 2 by means of (optional) always visible player character portraits. This "screen mock" is from the thread:  Quick and Dirty Contextual Notes Access . There is its explanation as well.
I was going to suggest the idea that since each person would have control of a token that can be tied to a character sheet, why not be able to click on a players name and assign a character sheet. They could make the names of each player in the bottom left-hand corner clickable, with each one bringing up the corresponding journal item that is associated with that name (sort-of like right clicking an image on the page and having the drop down menu with 'add turn', 'send to back', etc.. except that it would only pop up a menu with the character sheet selection options.
