Premise: Decades ago, a war raged across the multiverse, between Gods and Mortals. The mortals wished for freedom, yet what they recieved, was hell on earth. Some of the gods sided with the mortals, and with their help, the mortal armies were able to destroy their creators. However, the price for freedom was steep. With most of the divinities gone, the multiverse collapsed upon itself, and the material plane was invaded by the remains, becoming twisted and dark. Demon Lords sought to replace the Gods, enslaving the lands - but that was not all... Of all the Gods, the God of Knowledge and Death, Nef, had the greatest impact. With her gone, people were unable to properly die. Upon the death of their physical body, their body would reanimate within a week, causing a spread of undeath. Even if their body was destroyed, their soul would linger as insane specters. Few are left who carry the symbol of Nef; former priests and clerics, now going by the name of Undertakers, who seek to put the souls to rest by opening the door to the realm of the dead - a door otherwise closed, due to the absense of the realms master. The God of Fire and giver of life, Argon, one of the few remaining Gods, protects the remnants of mortality, but if nothing is done, the whole world will die and become enslaved by demon lords...
