NEW PLAYER

Hi I am kinda new to the whole tabletop role-play scene , but was always allured to its charm, but I lack 3 things to even try out the games, First, money to buy the books, Second the know how and skills, third....Friends Q^Q. If anyone is willing to teach and try out a noob such as myself (I have a mic and a dream) I would be delighted to join in on almost any game :D

I am running a 5e d&d game set in Tal'dorei on Thursday evenings around 530pm cst until 10pm cst.&nbsp; The time can be flexible mostly and we may move to an hour earlier start and end time so that we can watch the new season of Critical Role when it starts.&nbsp; This would be Matt Mercer's setting from the Geek and Sundry show Critical Role.&nbsp; I am NOT a voice actor but I have been running games since 1983.&nbsp; Two of my players have been with me off and on since the mid 90s and the third has played with me for 3-4 years.&nbsp; We are looking to bring in some new blood and a 4th player.&nbsp; We are more than willing to teach and get you setup.&nbsp; If you are interested send me a PM as I will see that before anything else.&nbsp; The party is currently 4th level so we will be creating your character at that level.&nbsp; We try to play weekly but real life sometimes gets in the way and I take a week or so off now and then just to recharge batteries.&nbsp; So shoot me a PM if you are interested and I will get you a link to the campaign and if you wish you can sit in on a session and just listen if you want or we can build you a character and I will try to fit you in at some point ASAP.

Loving all the&nbsp; replies very helpful , I would like to point out I have a few books from the humble bundle that outs right now so i have a few things to throw in if nessesary&nbsp;

<a href="http://www.basicfantasy.org/downloads.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.basicfantasy.org/downloads.html</a> Basic Fantasy is an excellent game which emulates the style from the 80's while borrowing from D20 games.&nbsp; All books are available for free in PDF and can be bought for cost on Amazon.&nbsp; Give it a shot, at the least you get a game for free but you might actually like it, I have been running a BFRPG game for a few months and loving it.
