New player, Pathfinder beginner box, LF GM to help me learn, Now if possible EST

Ive never played any tabletop game before but picked up the Pathfinder Beginner Box over the weekend. I attempted to run the adventure from the box with 2 friends and while we had fun it didn't go to well. Just about everything we did turned out to be wrong looking back afterwards. Everything from character creation to rolls. Im available all day today until around 7pm if anyone would be interested in doing a small one off adventure to get me into the swing of things, using beginner box rules would be greatly appreciated.
I do not have a mic but I have no problem typing while listening through speakers or headphones
so you redid the post so you could make a more descriptive name...that was probably a smart move. anyways i've got your back, but we need a GM.
Ya, while browsing the forum I noticed I overlooked the sticky. If im going to beg for help, I can at least beg for help correctly.
I have never used roll 20 before but I would really like to try something to see how it all works. I have time this afternoon if you are willing to walk me through using the site, I have played normal table top rpgs before.
Ive never used roll20 either but it seems pretty straight forward according to the wiki as a player
are you guys looking for a pure tutorial type session, or a real campaign?
A mix of both would be ideal. Maybe like a semi hand holding campaign?
I can run a half-assed quicky We-be-goblins campaign if you want. 4 player pre-gen goblins (fighter, rogue, alchemist, cleric) Can't promise it would be as enjoyable as a prepared-ahead-of-time campaign, but it should suit the need of getting used to Roll20. Probably wouldn't be able to finish the module in the time given, though. I can only run it for 3 hours or so.
that would be perfect for me. im game whenever you are ready
I sent out invites as Private Messages. This is really cobbled together but it should do.
joining now. Even if this is a complete disaster, if I walk away with an understanding of one core mechanic, or at least a bit more knowledge than what I have right now, than to me its a complete success. Thanks in advance.
looks like we're just doing a PF tutorial, no campaign going on.
Thanks a ton mark. You really helped me out so far tonight
my pleasure :) Doesn't hurt that I used to teach and do a lot of technical training at work.
