[Party members made 3 checks: insight, constitution, perception] Ailekk Ailekk gets conned into having more than he’d originally intended. However, despite imbibing, he manages the alcohol well [His DC was higher, b/c he seldom drinks], and he notices everything else that goes on. He noticed the Figure and Cassius slipping off to private quarters somewhere during the evening then shutting the door. Ailekk noticed people trying to get him drunk and him willfully keeping to his word of just having a few. Ailekk noticed Ron getting drug off by some groups of orcs and half-orcs, he noticed Kalrithni slipping down a hallway with a young orc woman. He also noticed Lindal and the guards having the best time of their lives in two weeks. For the first time, the four of them seemed happy, and content. He then noticed on his shoulder was a mouse, a mouse that leaned over and licked him on the face. Wanting to gobble it up, initially, Ailekk took a moment and looked at it. The mouse licked him again and ran out of the chamber. Ailekk followed it through the castle, up, and up, and up. He passed several Bonehammer patrols who now immediately knew who he was and said, “Ailekk! RAFFOLK SLAYER!!!” and tried to shake his hand or hug him. Ailekk, ignored them all, the best he could and made his way up until he was sitting on top of a tower overlooking Bonehammer at night with Anna. Anna, a little different, but still her gave him a huge hug. She looked a bit more wearied than the last time he saw her. She looked at him, and said “Ailekk. Are you okay? You are missing some plumage.” And she brushed his face. He just then realized how bad he’d been hurt in the last fight. Feeling his own face, neck and body, he had several bare spots where feathers had been burns off. The skin was fine, but the injuries were obvious. Ailekk asked, “Where’ve you been?” Anna says, “I escorted Bigmug, Twigg, Eldon and Lindal into Dree through the mountains. The halflings got away. One was captured and the other went after him. I assumed they were both fine. I left messages for you, I assume you found them since when I went back and sniffed around I finally found your message.” She added, “I’m sure Kaaska got Namfoodle, I’d bet my life on it. You’ll probably have to save Namfoodle from him. And yes, I’m fine. I don’t know about Bigmug. He and Twigg have a fools errand. I can’t stop them from that.” “I’m glad you’re okay Ailekk. Oh. By the way. I’m going to murder those nobles in Dravens.” Ailekk got the impression she was serious and said, “Well don’t do it without me, I’ll help you.” Realizing the weight of her own words Anna said, “Oh Ailekk. I’m sorry, I wasn’t serious. It’s just the things they’ve said and the way the treat the others… the normal people in Dravens. It isn’t right. It’s maddening.” Ailekk asks some more questions but the two are just hanging lying next to each other. Curled up side by side. Finally he realizes she’s dozed off on the roof of a tower, and Ailekk scratches around and does the same. Ailekk is the first to wake up the next morning. Ron Ron gets drunk, readily and he handles it poorly. He notices nothing in the party as it goes on but it was super fun. He wakes up early in the morning, halfway still drunk, and realizes someone stole his broom. He’s in a hay bed, a young half orc man and middle aged orc woman are laying on top of him. He’s also half dressed. He has no idea where he is or how he got there or what happened between him and those two. He starts fumbling around, the two start to squirm then spoon him from both sides harder. He collects his senses, full headache mode, and begin fumbling around. Just then Kalrithni walks in, nude except for her boots and yells “Well there you are you shithead of an adulterous husband!!!” Ron expects the two to bolt. But they don’t. They are super drunk and just lay there. Ron lays there breathing, not knowing what hell the else to do. She walks closer and kicks each really hard in succession then yells, “What the hell are you two mangy youngsters doing here, get the hell OUT!” And they both wake up and look up at her. As they do fire springs from her hands. They flee the fuck out. The moment they do she collapses on Ron’s lap. “Did ya have a good time? I sure as hell did.” He has barely time to respond before a naked Kalrithni passes out in his lap. He still can’t find his damn broom. Cassius Cassius had already had it in his mind to have a good time. So he did. After some time, he and V found some time and snuck off. For the first time in month, maybe years, not afraid of their surroundings. V was as paranoid as always, but a little more relaxed. When Cassius wakes up the next morning, and V is gone. He remembers Ron and Kalrithni having a good time, Urd having a good time, too. He gets up, his belongings are in perfect order stacked up next to him methodically. Urd Urd realizes pretty quickly that with the amount of people chatting him up and buying him drinks, they are actively trying to buy him drinks. Not for some ulterior motive, but just because they really respect what they’ve heard about him. Being a member of Raffolk’s Slayers has made him much more popular than he’s ever been before. Urd is a celebrity in his homeland. [Gains Folk hero status]. Urd manages to handle what he drinks, although given the scope of his homecoming is pretty oblivious to everything going on around him. He wakes up in the morning in the company of whoever he wants to [alone, with male, female, or male and female company]. Not far off is his older half-brother Rilug [3rd oldest sibling], the guard who has a companion with him on a bed. By the door his brother Nildud [8th oldest sibling, the worthless criminal and orc] squatting near the door smoking a pipe. Nildud is looking at him and grins when he notices Urd wake up. Nildud says, “Brother” in a loud voice. No one else wakes up. He stands up, walks over and offers Urd the pipe, “Care for a hit?’ Rurrick Rurrick didn’t have to be enticed to get drunk, he just got drunk. Really, really drunk. But handled it better than almost anyone else. He saw where the others departed to, and woke up in a mood more chipper than anyone else. The Party Conveins Ron found his broom underneath himself in the hay bed. Everyone else came together in the main hall. A large room, 100 feet long, 50-60 feet wide, and 2 stories tall with balconies overlooking it at many bars, tables, and benches, there were still orcs and half orcs who passed out after the party. Raffolk’s Slayers came together for breakfast with coffee and roasted meats while everyone else still rested. Urd had his brothers Rilug the guard and Nildud the cloaked shifty orc with him. Rurrick and Urd talked about what to do while Ron tried to get himself straight as Kalrithni poked fun at him and Cassius just moped about a bit. The Figure and Ailekk were nowhere to be seen. After discussing plans to go to Shame of Mabub, Rilug said, “Well, I am a guard here. I must be going I think.” He clasped Urd’s arm and left. Nildud offered to show Urd and his companions anywhere they might want to go, but Urd declined.Nildud gave him a hug, and said, “Be well my brother.” [or something along those lines] The party left traveling west out of Castle Bonehammer and the surrounding city. They traveled a day to the river where Rurrick insisted on summoning alligators and floating those across who couldn’t fly after declining going an alternate route to a ferry. Seeing the guards floating a few feet a minute across the long river the Figure took off south. By the time the party had crossed the river and composed themselves, she was standing on the other side. She’d decided to take a ferry, and had some jerky in her hands. More than once Rurrick tried to talk to her but she just ignored him, so he took to calling her “Missy.” At some point Rurrick approached Kalrithni while she was hunting grubs and she offered him one out of her magical pouch which, while a normal pouch on most accounts, keeps things cool. He ate it. Rurrick gained +1 influence with Kalrithni. Getting closer to Shame of Mabub, Urd got a message from Ma Thornberry: “Urd, Kaaska caught Namfoodle. Took him to Behyla. Behyla had him sent to Bakra. Namfoodle's mind is broken. Go to Bonehammer soon.” Urd’s response was, "fuck okay umm we'll be there the day after tomorrow.” They began traveling at a fast pace. The two nights they camped the Figure, Rurrick, and Urd took turns standing guard. Urd and the figure had seen some things off in the off in the distance in the sky, but nothing of importance. As they traveled quickly towards Shame of Mabub, they had been traveling along the plains with Urd, the Figure, and Ailekk in the front. They saw two giant boulders with orcs hiding on the other side. But they weren’t looking at the party, they were looking up at the sky. Ailekk looked up and saw two wyverns descending upon them, with two others hoving above. In the first round Urd opened the eversmoking bottle, the Figure unloaded on a wyvern and Ailekk took one to 40% health by unleashing on it then stunning it in the air and making it fall to the ground. Urd, Cassius and the Figure Rushed out of the smoke to the north, while Ailekk held his position in the air. Ron, Kalrithni, Lindal, and the guards hid under the tree. The downed wyvern came out to the northwest, biting and stinging the Figure after being attacked by both. The other one came out of the north east almost killing Kalrithni. Between Rurrick’s lightning, a lucky shot by Ailekk, Ron’s fireball, and some other attacks both were downed. Then the other two came out of the sky towards them. After a brief fight, one was killed (mostly from Ailekk’s damage) and the other one attempted to flee but Rurrick who was now in giant eagle form gave pursuit and killed it. The party met the orcs who thanked them for their service and escorted them to Shame of Mabub. Arriving they could see tall 30 foot walls around a settlement on the side of the river. As they entered still accompanied by the orc scouts, everyone gave way to Urd’s advance who led them confidently. The houses and storefronts were crowded and made of stone, not solid dwarf make but more solid than anyone would have guessed the orcs could do. In the city they could see about 70% orcs, and the other 30% mixed half-orc and human/Eurik with the occasional half-elf, halfling, gnome and even dwarf. None of them appeared to be enslaved. Walking south through the market district, Cassius stepped off to buy fabric. The party waited around for a couple minutes and then moved off south and then to the east in front of Sahiva Keep. The hairpin they found in Guilds Town was a Sahiva pin, a crescent moon with a dagger being plunged into the moon. This crest was laid in a giant metal crest over the doorway to the keep. Dozens and dozens of guards and warriors at the door, Raffolk’s Slayers boldly entered.
