First things first, my name is Zander, I'm looking for a group that plays either on Sundays from 1-5 pm or on Mondays from 3-5 pm. Both MDT. I can't use voice or video myself but I have no objections to others using them in the game. Like I said in the title, I want to use a different  character in a game, here's his summery: Character Name: Burgell Ningle. Otherwise know as Cloak. Class: Wizard Race: Forest Gnome Backstory: (This can be changed to fit the campaign world if needed) As a young gnome Burgell would often be seen alone. He never played with any of the other children, never went to watch the entertainers when they came to town, he never even went bird watching. In fact, he couldn't have done most of those things even if he wanted to. You see, Burgell was blind. It was because of this that his parents had him taught by the old wizard who lived in town, in hope that magic might give him what sight couldn't. When he was 15 years old a traveling minstrel came to town. After much persuasion Burgell agreed to go and listen to him play. One song was all it took for him to want to learn how to play like that. So he saved up his money and bought himself a nice Mandola to learn to play. 17 years latter and already he's a traveling entertainer who goes from town to town playing songs and telling tales.  Notes: He's blind, and to compensate for the fact that he can't see I've put together/modified one I fond online, this feature: Sight without Seeing: You gain blindsight 30 feet and tremor sense 60 feet. You gain advantage on wisdom (perception) checks that rely on sound. Opponents have advantage on any ranged attacks made against you. Due to your blindness you are unable to use the dash action unless someone assists you. Whenever you become subject to sudden, cacophonous source of sound, such as from the spell Thunderwave, you suffer disadvantage on your attack rolls, ability checks and saving throws until the start of your next turn beginning when the sound has subsided to a manageable level. Using this feat, in addition to him knowing Braille (mostly for his spellbook), I'm confident that he won't be to overpowered or hampered. Seeing as this is all homebrewed I'm fine with changing it if you feel it is to over/under powered. If you want to have me in your group you can either post a bit about it here, or send me a pm about it. Thanks for reading!
