Portrait vs. Landscape Issue

Device: iPad Pro 10.5, iOS 11.2.2, Safari Issue: Attempted to purchase Star Trek package in Marketplace. However, the screen simply dimmed and nothing, apparently, happened. Note that this was in Landscape mode. Joined forum to post trouble report. Since I was a first time user, the Terms of Use form appeared, but the Agree button was off the bottom of the screen and could not be scrolled. Backed out of forum page, turn iPad so that I was in portrait mode and, sure enough, there was the entire Terms form including the button. That gave me the idea to re-enter the Market place in portrait mode to see if there was a window that was off the display. Sure enough, that worked and the pop-up window for the purchase displayed correctly. Note that hat it was only my persistence and accidental discovery the pops-ups were off screen. That kept me from simply giving up on Roll20. Additionally, when I tried to find a “Contact Us” link as is pretty much standard on all websites, there was none. Again, the last resort was going to the forum to post a query to other users about how to contact the webmaster that led me, accidentally, to this forum. It it would seem that while the mechanics of game play and tools the Roll20 website have been well thought out, the same cannot be said for the ease of use of the website itself. I highly recommend adding a webmaster or customer service button on the main menu that would go to a page of instructions with a link to the forums page. Forums should also not be the only way to communicate issues. Customers should be able to discuss charges and other sensitive topics in private via voice or email. i hope you take these as constructive observations and suggestions that are meant to improve the user experience and expand the user base. Thanks, Ray R.

Hi Ray! I'm glad you found the way to make the purchase, and thank you for pointing out how the website didn't display efficiently on ipad on landscape. For web browsers of the virtual tabletop, Chrome and Firefox are supported. For the Contact link -- there is a link labeled "Need Help? Visit our FAQ" at the bottom of Roll20 webpages. Here is the wiki documentation with the customer service email, https://wiki.roll20.net/Customer_Support_FAQ Welcome and happy rolling.
