[LFP] Palladium Robotech Expeditionary Force Marines

Hello all, I am putting a call out for players to join an existing group. Details at the link below. https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/767572/a-... Join in the adventures of the Robotech Expeditionary Force as they set forth to liberate the home worlds of the Sentinel races. Utilizing the Robotech Expeditionary Forces marines book, your characters will be operating often as a special forces detachment. Sensitive missions, reconnaissance, Hit and Run strikes and first contact with alien races, is but a brief overview different missions that the group have encountered. This game campaign has been in various formats for a little over two years now, resulting in a rich history, well developed NPC’s and a great deal of information for new players. ***MATURE CONTENT SCIENCE FICTION VIOLENCE WILL BE DISCUSSED 18+ONLY*** Player characters will be part of a flotilla detachment of star ships, returning from the recent liberation of Karbarra. Primarily tasked with searching for survivors on the frozen planet of Arcturus, they are also attempting to locate one of several Invid Hives thought to infest this world. ********************************************************************************************************************* This is a team-based game, where by pooling resources and skills players are able to overcome obstacles. Therefore, I can not accept any players that wish to play as "EVIL" alignments, it will simply make my job as GM far too hard and flies in the face of the game setting. Again this is a team based game that I want everyone to enjoy, so power players are not welcome.Unlike other Palladium game systems, “Jack of all trades” character types do not work well on Robotech, it would be highly beneficial to generate a specialised character (especially at low levels). *** For New players *** Primarily the player base is American, (Mike the GM is Australian GMT +8). I normally run game sessions on a three-week rotation, with game day on Thursday evenings. The playing group is small, easy going, friendly and looking to expand. We prefer to use Skype for all audio aspects of this game as it reduces the load on Roll20, please ensure that you have a head set with microphone set up to get the most out of our game sessions. You will require a copy of the Robotech Expeditionary Forces Marines book in order to be able to generate a character for this campaign. Robotech is a Science Fiction WAR Game.It would be helpful if new players looked up some of the cartoon episodes online to get a feel for the game before joining, if only to get a "feel" for the storyline settings. Initially new or inexperienced players will be assigned characters to use to see if the style of this game suites them, after a game session I am happy to organize a time to sit down and hash out their desired characters.

By default a link such as https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/1234567/s ... is only visible to players already in the game, and only Plus and Pro subscribers can make their games visible to the public , but people not in the game can not post to the forums. The best way to handle this situation is to create a Looking for Group listing ; even if you do not enable it for viewing in the LFG Directory you can share the link with others and have a separate Listing Discussion forum just for those potentially interested in your game. As a bonus, anyone who posts to your game's Listing Discussion forum will have a big blue button by their username and all a GM has to is click 'Invite to Game' and an invitation will be sent their way. I hope this helps, happy gaming! :)
Thanks GenKitty, Well for those who might be interested, a working link has been placed below. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/24311/a-winters...
