Happy Valentine's Day to those who celebrated it this week and happy Wednesday to those who don't! This week we have a big WebRTC push (check out our sweet updated Wiki page on it!) and some lovely eye candy to liven up your campaign. We hope this will make you feel the love as you ease into a weekend of adventuring~ Developer Spotlight New WebRTC features including quality settings New WebRTC set to be the default for new games, while the legacy WebRTC is on a path to be depricated Copied games now remember the module they're based off of Inline roll styling changes to prevent spilling off the screen Sheet Workers for Character Sheets can now update the pseudo character_name field Changing the character_name field now properly updated the character dialogue in real time Hi rollers, Steve K here. The big news this week is that we've pushed the Beta WebRTC live as the new default video and voice chat experience . We've also included some more options and settings. As always we're interested in your feedback. In other news we've polished some long standing rough edges. Previously, copied games didn't remember that they were originally created from a module. This meant that they didn't receive patch updates. Now they do. We also fixed a long standing issue that changing the character_name attribute on a character sheet would update the journal entry, but not the dialogue that was open. We also exposed this functionality to sheet workers. Looking to the future we're furiously working away at some exciting changes coming down the pipeline. Until next week, happy rolling! Steve K. Roll20 Lead Developer On the Marketplace Our Licensing and Marketplace Director Dean has come back from the depth of our creators' bountiful offerings with this week's faves! Here are their picks: Dungeon Tiles 2 - Ye Olde School by Klone #29 I've been loving the simplicity of these old school dungeon tiles by Klone #29. They speed up dungeon creation time by eliminating the need to mix and match styles and color palettes, while giving off a fun vibe all their own. Generic Mahou Shoujo Tokens by Yuikami As is often the case, Yuikami's latest pack has all of us here swooning over the colorful excitement. Even if your campaign doesn't fall within this style, all of the hearts and heart token borders can be great accessories for the next time you're dealing with a charmed character. Cars in Your Neighborhood by DMS Creations Finally, DMS Creations has put out a totally niche pack filled with automobiles. We almost never see cars here at Roll20 - I'm not even sure how many of us own cars (I don't), so it's always fun to see something new.
