I have a Homebrew Pathfinder campaign running every Saturday from about 3-10 PM PST, and I have a few open spots in the group. Details about the game! We play over Discord for voice and use Roll20 for the game. Starting level is 6th, progression is seminormal, and the characters all level together. As in the title, the game is Sandbox, meaning that there is no main questline to go on or one specific big bad that needs to be stopped by the end of the campaign. The campaign has no definitive ending or end game scenario-- it's all up to what the players want to do as adventurers. Character voices, fanciful exposition, visceral combat, and endless exploration can all be found playing with this group. This game is set in a fantastical Homebrew realm called Aurora. Instead of a singular world, we have a collection of worlds that float over a colossal, nigh infinite ocean. We have a lot of room for exploration and discovery still, as a vast majority of the realm is still untouched by what is known as the Inner Circle, which is the main grouping of spheres (as the worlds are called) that surround a giant mechanical sphere that is the accepted center of known Aurora. The realm is in a state of cold war, with new factions of would-be conquerors rising up and old wounds being reopened by current conflicts. The current arc is that the players have reformed the old Adventurers Guild on the dark and foresty sphere of Garude and are working to gain prestige and influence to get it back on the map and in people's minds again. It hasn't been for about thirty years, but this group is the first that successfully did a run, paid for the building, and have managed to impress some of the nobility with their deeds. Right now on Garude, the adventurers aretrying to hunt down the source of sudden and rampant vampire attacks in a mining town called Drunal just a couple days southwest of the capital. They've gathered only a couple of clues and barely scratched the surface, but they're slowly getting into the deeper and darker underlying problems, finding that part of their problem may be within the mountain's deep mines.  The group is currently a Warpriest, and Fire Elemental (Bloodline) Sorcerer, and a Bard. As you can see, the team is pretty magic heavy, but we could always use more magic! CAVEATS, PROVISOS, AND BONUSES Only eight races are playable. Human, Half-elf, Elf, Dwarf, Ratfolk, Catfolk, Undine, and Half-orc. Half-orcs are called 'Orcs', but use the Half-orc racial template because the GM likes it better. The reason for this is because only these eight races have lore in the realm and have been discovered. Though it won't matter immediately, magic is restricted after 6th level spells. Please do not come in with a premade character concept. It might not click with the rest of the party, or a number of other issues could arise. Contact me with your interest first, and allow me to chat with you about the world lore and help you come up with a character concept that you will enjoy. This will allow me to include your character in more storytelling than I otherwise would be able to. We need frequent (if not perfect) attendance. If you have to drop from a session, please let us know well ahead of time! Players will all start with one background skill (always maxed, always class skill for free), one background trait (The only trait you start with, you don't pick any others), and one background feat. However, I get to choose these for you based on the character concept you provide me with! This means I will be expecting a backstory to be written for your character-- however short or long you want to make it is fine, but I'll fill in the big spaces that you leave out. The stat block is the 14s method. That means, all stats begin at 14 and points are rearranged 1:1, but no stat goes above 18 or below 8 prior to racial or level bonuses. If you're interested, leave me a private message with your Discord information, or a message here and I'll get back to you with mine so we can chat. There's a lot to discuss about the game realm, so please reach out to me.
