Hello everyone, A little about me : I'm looking for a new campaign to join, since the one I was on recently ended. I am 27 years old and work at the Eastern time zone, meaning I'll be available weekdays from 6-11pm and weekends are a lot more flexible. I enjoy games with a very gray moral point of views, as well as dark themes (my favorite RPG game being a tie between Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 1, and Final Fantasy X). I do like to joke around and have fun (because it is a game) and enjoy the RPing as well as finding creative ways in combat. Stories that allow for character development and growth really gain my attention! I will still say that I'm fairly new to the whole DnD thing since I just started a year ago, but the party that I had been into were of great groups of people. An example of a past character I played before : Tiefling Warlock, Aldrich, who was taken in under a wizard, but couldn't fully grasp the concept of magic. As such, he turned to bargaining with a diety, the Shadow, who gifted him with powers in exchange for his unending servitude. It wasn't until much later that he learned that his wizard mentor and his diety had crossed paths, when another warlock broke into the store that Aldrich and wizard both manned, and attacked both. Fortunately, the intruder was repelled. Looking to help the wizard, who had become like family to the tiefling, the Aldrich begged the wizard to let him help. Finally agreeing to allow the tiefling to help, the wizard instructed Aldrich to gain as much favor from the Shadow as he could; to place himself on the top ranks of the Shadow's forces. This way, Aldrich would be able to combat the Shadow and do what the wizard could not; to try and usurp him from his seat of power and end his reign in the Abyss. What I'm looking to play now : a roguish assassin character. One who isn't so much a murdering hobo, but isn't opposed to murdering civilians for the right price. He keeps to the shadows and plans out every move before striking. Being gifted with such skills, he had taken larger and larger jobs, taking requests to kill higher politicians that he agreed were corrupt or malicious. Although he may seem cruel and cold with all the killing, deep down inside he still retains the thought of protecting those that he believed were innocent. He'd much rather give himself up to guards if they threatened to kill the person who was harboring him. Message me if this sounds like a good fit for your group, I look forward to hearing from you!
