Night's Black Agents (minus the vamps) straight spy/espionage campaign seeking players!

I am seeking a couple more players for a Night's Black Agents (Gumshoe system) game campaign.  Please do not join unless you can commit to trying to make it to nearly every session.  I am trying to avoid flakes and people constantly dropping in and out of the campaign.  We will decide day/time once we see how much initial interest we have so that we can choose a day/time that works for all or nearly all that are interested in playing. The campaign will not include vampires.  The core premise of the game as presented in the core rulebook is superspies vs. vampire conspiracy.  I am removing vampires and using the rules to play a straight-up espionage spy game.  Think the Jason Bourne or Mission Impossible movies, or even the newer Daniel Craig James Bond 007 movies in theme and feel for the campaign. Your mission if you choose to accept it: The players will be highly trained operatives from diverse espionage backgrounds and agencies recruited for a top-secret program tasked with taking the most clandestine and most difficult missions with high stakes.  Players will all have their areas and moments to shine in each session. If you are not familiar with the Gumshoe system and/or Night's Black Agents, in general, do not fret.  I will provide tools and teach the system.  It is very rules-lite and easy to teach and learn.  NBA is an award-winning game and one of the best sets of rules to run espionage ever created. Who all can commit and wants to play in a dedicated campaign? Your nation needs you. This message will self-destruct in 5 minutes....

What time zone  are you  in?

I am interested, though not experienced in Roll20 or that system. I do have the NBA books as PDFs and found them well done and the campaign world interesting.  Currently, I have a F2F game on alternate Fridays and one on alternate Sundays. So, unless we choose something that isn't those days or you're in an interesting time zone, I couldn't commit to attending.

Im interested. Ive played the Gumshoe system before for a Cthulhu game. Me likey, me very likey. The only problem is my availability is pretty tight. Maybe we can discuss it with the group? Im GMT+0. Jason Bourne is my favourit spy movie, but im also fond of movies like Breach and The Kingdom, also The Unit for their depiction of what can only be described as Warrior Spies.

Sundays work for me as well. I am a Bond fan from way 'way' back; however, I also like Bourne, Mission Impossible, The Brave, The Unit, the list goes on...Myself, I would like to play more stealth and subterfuge than outright ass kicking and blowing shit up. But I can roll whatever.

Sunday's would be good for me to, depending on time as I am in the UK.

I am also considering using the brand new Top Secret: New World Order to run this game.  It will be similar in feel to the Mission Impossible movies.  I would provide game materials to each player to teach the game to you all.  It is rules-lite yet robust. At the moment im leaning more towards nights black because i read that it has a custom conspiricy generator.

Are you all able to meet maybe this Sunday at 8 pm eastern time to discuss the campaign and make characters? Would you like to do so over Discord for voice chat? I could set us up on there. I think we are going to go with Top Secret: New World Order as our game engine for a variety of reasons.

I can meet at that time. However i'd still like the normal game time to be 6pm EST. Throw up the discord. Ive already been planning my char :) just need to see how it fits into the rules. Basically im thinking of a Tough / Intelligent character.

Thank you! Thank you all! Please start coming up with basic character concepts and we will roll characters this Sunday. Beginners to the game and Roll20 are welcome. I am mostly looking for good roleplayers that can make the game regularly. The way I will run this is you will all be an elite clandestine group of operatives tasked with undertaking the most dangerous and important missions our allied governments deem to be of utmost priority. This will either be a weekly or bi-weekly game (to be decided this Sunday) and players will not have to make each session. If you have to miss a session it is ok as I see this as a pool of operatives that will be sent out in various combinations for particular missions. Not all operatives will be necessarily assigned to each mission. It will be a pool of operators that will be assigned as determined by ICON. Think Rainbow Six and/or Mission Impossible (the movies). If you miss a game then just drop in at the next one, if you can make it, and you will earn xp each session you play. I may also be implementing a system where you can earn limited amounts of xp outside of sessions by side missions and by volunteering to write a last session recap. REPLY 
