[3.5e] drop down boxes for spells

so when i was using the 3.5 d&d pregenerated character sheet i was having an issue. i tried to add divine spells for the druid but only cleric spells would show up. and only 1 spell for each spell level. the 1st level spell was cure light wounds then 2nd level was doom i stopped checking after that. i tried to add spells for the wizard in the group and again encountered the same problem except the spells were only from the wizard list and level 0 was always read magic and level 1 was always magic missile. my suggestion is to have drop down boxes.1 drop down box for class so it will filter all the proper spells. then 1 drop down for each spell added to the character sheet. like if i wanted to add a level 0 wizard spell it would have a list of each spell then i choose one and it should load the proper macros for attack rolls and damages or add proper effects to the character/creature that the spell was cast on

The character sheet templates (except for a few specific official ones) are created by other players. In this particular case, I created the 3.5 sheet. The spells that show up are sample spell templates. You are expected to create your own macros for the spells that your character uses in the game. (note that you can click on and change the header names for each selection if you so desire and that higher level sections literally specify that it is placeholder text). I don't have the programming skill to have any reasonable way to have a set of pre-populated spells available without severely slowing down the character sheet further. There also might be copyright implications including that information. If we get a D&D3.5 compendium in the future, I have some plans on adjusting the sheet to allow drag-and-drop from that but there is no time frame given on such a feature at this time. The sheet was merely designed to be a way to hold the information needed to play in the game. I have tried to allow it be as friendly to homebrew and the usage of books beyond the base players handbook (which is the only one my group used) as I can, so I do not plan on hard coding a bunch of spells into it. You can find a list of macros for some of the spells here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1g8fUu5XTvAw8_PDQATIohaFaQEeQFt5J9EOrslfiqr0/edit# These have been entered by myself and others and there are some links to a variety of methods to create roll-template friendly macros further down the doc. Hope this helps.
