Enabling Adv fog of war eats CPU

As the topic suggests if i enable adv fog of war on any maps be it a 5x5 or a 25x25 my cpu useages on chrome shoot up anywhere from 0.4% to 45% or 80%-90%. This only happens if i enable Adv fog of war I have read a bunch of posts regarding FPS issues on here, I have cleared my cache, I have tried only having adv fog of war on, i have tried it with dynamic lighting on, nothing changes. Even if i use large big images or tiny images it doesn't change anything, the CPU usage skyrockets. I will note I have no extensions installed in the browser either.

Which browser is this happening with? Have you tried both Firefox and Chrome?
It is with both Chrome and Firefox.
I've had similar issues with Advanced as well.

All I can suggest at this point is that you file a full bug report. The things we need with every bug report are: A detailed description of the issue. The more information you can give us, the better able we'll be to fix the issue promptly! Step by step instructions on how to reproduce the issue. Your computer's settings (A good place to find this info if you don't know it is Support Details ): Web Browser Browser Version Operating System If Javascript is enabled Your anti-virus software List of any browser add-ons or extensions enabled A Console Log from the moment you logged into the page through when you encountered the issue. In Google Chrome Use the keyboard shortcut: Command - Option - J (Mac) or Control -Shift -J (Windows/Linux). If that doesn't work, follow these instructions: https://developers.google.com/chrome-developer-tools/docs/console#opening_the_console In Mozilla Firefox Use the keyboard shortcut: Control-Shift-K (Command-Option-K on the Mac) If that doesn't work, follow these instructions: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Web_Console
I managed to solve the issue by doing something I overlooked, my friend suggested uninstalling and then reinstalling Chrome/Firefox, and that cleared up the FPS issues, I'm not sure what might have been causing it but a fresh reinstall cleared everything up. Sorry for any inconvenience on my behalf for not trying something so obvious in the first place.

good to know Calaun. I had some players this past week complain about the lighting crushing their computers. I'll keep this thread saved for future referense
