[LFG]Mature Player looking for RP-heavy, high fantasy campaign to join[EST][5e]

Hello! I'm looking for a roleplay heavy, long-term campaign. I prefer epic storylines (or at least sandboxes with opportunities for epic storylines) and lots of story to dig in to. I’d also prefer to find a group that engage in roleplay with one another and a GM who doesn’t mind taking a step back and allowing roleplay to happen. Who I am : I’m 31, Female, and have over 22 years of experience as a player of various systems under my belt. I also have over 19 years of experience as a GM, though I am not looking to run a game at this time. I write both for a living and as a hobby, so I value story and character depth. I am not a “crunchy” player, so it’s worth putting that out there up front. If your group is the type to nitpick and go with minute details in the rules rather than what serves the game/narrative overall, I’m not your girl. I guess this could be summed up best by saying that I am a ROLE player, not a ROLL player. I am a writer both from a professional standpoint and as a hobby, so I value story and character growth over all else. What I’m looking for : A group of ADULT (21+) role players who aren’t here to be murder hobos. It's also worth noting that just because I want the other players to be over 21 doesn't mean I'm interested in having ERP or anything like that, I just prefer playing with people who are more mature and have more life experience than someone younger. A group that can be sensitive to each other both as people and as fellow gamers. A GM who can handle the demands of GMing, both from world-based stuff like NPC building and world crafting, to story stuff like weaving in character backgrounds and such so the story becomes more relevant to the characters and the players themselves. Something lasting that we can all get invested in (sorry, I really am not big on one-shots, I find them difficult to enjoy because they’re difficult to get into the story and character with). I would really prefer to join a brand new campaign or at least a campaign that isn't too far along (3-4 sessions max) because I find it difficult and awkward to join most groups in the middle of their story. I'm doing this right now with one group and I'd like to not have to do it again with another. I'd also like to note that as a player, I come from an old school line of thought that designing characters should, to some degree, involve talking to the rest of the players. A party doesn't have to have a "holy trinity" of tank, healer, and caster, but there should be some balance involved, and shouldn't be too heavy in one direction or another. There's a number of reasons for why I feel this way... which I can explain if you reach out to me, but I don't want to clog my listing more than I have. I'd also like to know that the players and GM will all get together before the game and have a Session 0/Meet and Greet where they can discuss what they want from the game, what homebrew rules are being used, etc. Nothing is worse than everyone coming to the table with wildly different desires and expectations, and finding out after people have invested time and effort in to their characters. In short... I want to find a group that treats this as a cooperative game, not as a group game with a bunch of individuals all tugging at the game to "get theirs" without any thought for the other players. Here are some specifics : System : D&D 5e World : Homebrew is generally preferred, but I'd be willing to get into a published campaign. Availability : Friday evenings, weekly, starting anytime after 6 PM EST, and potentially Sunday Mornings until roughly noon EST. Medium : Voice based ONLY (I will not cam, do not ask). Skype, Hangouts, or Discord for voice. Special Note : I'm NOT going to pay you.
Updated. Still available Fridays!
if you find a group and have an opening i would love to join you

Hi! What you described is pretty much exactly what I'm also looking for. I may not be the GM that you're looking for (I have GMed before but I'm looking for a player role this time, I think...) but if you're trying to assemble a group of players I'd be thrilled to participate. This is my beginnings with Roll20 but I've been playing D&D off and on since back in the early 90s with 2nd Edition. I'm 38, male, and a high school teacher (which means I work with diverging personalities and group dynamics all day long). I currently live in a rural area which is why I've tried to turn online to find a group. It's pretty dry here. I also agree that murderhobos/edgelords are tedious. I've always very, very much preferred heavy roleplaying groups... given the choice I'd rather talk through an encounter rather than roll through an encounter. The so-called "theater of the mind" was my bread and butter when I began RPing... we didn't have miniatures and game mats in my group back when I started my cheeky rogue back when I was 12.
