I wanted to give my players an idea of how large the world is, but also want to keep it hidden to maintain that sense of wonder and awe. Here's what I've come up with: I allow all of the characters to edit the markers so that they are able click on them. If they do shift & double click on the token it pulls up a picture and a brief summary of the area based on what they know so far (I create a character sheet instead of a handout so that the information can be linked to a token). To safeguard these markers from being moved I have placed a lock on the tokens that only I can unlock as GM. I run the risk of having someone potentially edit the tokens, but I trust my players enough to not do so. GM Screen Token Settings Character Sheet Settings Player Screen
