Hello. My 9 year old son has become very interested in Dungeons and Dragons through a few, very cursory and rules light, play-throughs of the 5E Starter Box module with his cousin, where I acted as the DM. I wanted to actually play with him as a character to help further develop his interest, and becouse I also love playing. To that ends, we are looking for a DM to take us through a few adventures or maybe even a sprawling campaign where we can develop our characters. My son is a very smart, imaginative, and thoughtful boy who loves the fantasy genre and RPG's in general. We play a lot of computer RPG's together, and I want to continue to encourage his enjoyment of pen and paper DnD. We are looking for a DM that will not be excruciatingly detailed regarding rules but will allow us opportunities for storytelling, role playing fun and loot accumulation, while helping us through some of the mechanics of the 5E DND system. I am very into original and deep characters and development and role-playing. We have a physical copy of the Players Handbook and the DM Handbook. And we will be playing side by side on two separate computers. We are open to multiple platforms to accommodate the game. We would be looking to play every other weekend on Saturday later afternoons, CST, starting around 4-5 pm for a few hours at a time. We also may be available for Sunday mornings sessions. If you are interested, or have a group we might fit into, please respond with the following questions answered. Thanks and we look forward to playing with you!
