Marketplace Gift Card Checkout Question

I'm trying to use a gift card @ Roll20 I got as a gift. I am not however getting the option to use it upon check out as I was instructed I would. It is only allowing me to enter credit card info or use paypal. I only want to use paypal for half the payment and the gift card for the other half but when I select paypal as a payment option it's trying to charge the full price to my paypal. What am I doing wrong?

now during checkout after I log into my paypal I get an error when it directs me back to finalize te transaction....I'm thinking maybe I enter the gift card info during the final submission of the transaction but I am getting an error instead of the right page when I'm redirected from paypal.
