Tokens for army units?

Hi guys, I am running a couple of games that take place in the same storyline and we recently just broke out into full scale war. I have been having a very hard time trying to find good clean tokens to represent different units(Orc infantry, human crossbow platoon, etc). I'm pretty sure the market place sells nothing along those lines. Would anyone know where to find something like that? I was even thinking just adjusting the sizes of tokens via copy/paste, but there is the issue of every token being individual and in close quarters it could make selecting a unit made up of 30 orcs difficult. There would also be the issue of health bar, status effect, etc. please if anyone has an idea or solution it would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding individuality I suggest using numbered status dots. If you have a unit of 30 you can number 10 of them via red, blue, and green, using the numbers 1-9 and blank. For example, the 5th Orc can be red5 while the 15th Orc is blue5.
Thank you for the reply. Actually, that is currently what I am doing, however I was looking for another way something that would look cosmetically more like an army unit and not just a couple of tokens with numbers attached. Like I said I had thought about adjusting the size down and copy/paste 20 or so of the same token to look like a (swarm) but it starts to get difficult to quickly move entire units due to the precise selecting needed to move 30 or tokens simultaneously when also surrounded by other objects/tokens. Is there another way around this? Like attaching tokens to act as one? Or maybe just an outside source with img files? It is astoundingly difficult to find pictures of an army unit, save for photos of war game miniatures, never mind actual tokens.
Also, to touch on the individual topic, that's the issue, I was thinking more along the lines of several different tokens acting as one, with combined selection, hp, aura, etc.

You can select a group of tokens and then right click to bring up an options menu. In the menu you can group or ungroup them. From that point on double click on the group to select the entire group (single click selects one unit in a group). However, aura etc are still individualized, sorry.
Well, I didn't know about that. Thank you, That should work fine.

You could take a bunch of tokens you like and bring them into an image editing software and resize them and put them together to look like an army? Here is a quick example with some Devin Knight free orcs. Just resize it to the size you want them to take?
That's perfect can you explain to me how you did that? I'm not very tech savvy.

I can do that. I can even do it for you if you wish. Explain a little more on how you envision the "Squad" token? Should it be square? Rectangle? I'm thinking square would be best for D&D 3.5 or Pathfinder. Just make them larger than a regular token, so 2x2, 3x3, 4x4. The individual monsters in the squad will look smaller than your other tokens, but its just to represent a squad of beings I'm thinking and not to actually look perfectly sized. Or if you want it perfectly sized we can do that. Each being in the squad takes up a 5' square, the token would get rather large and you couldn't change the shape of it on the fly. Just some thoughts. So you have access to Photoshop? If not then Gimp is your best bet. I haven't used Gimp, but I'll install it write now and then do a write up on what to do. Its not that hard once you get the hang of it.

Download and install Gimp or use another photo editing software, you can find Gimp here, http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ The first thing to know is Roll20 works on 70 pixels per inch. Next you need to decide on the shape (rectangle or square) of your squad. Then the size 2x2, 3x3, 1x4, etc. Then decide will each member of the squad be the regular size it should be compared to other tokens (1"/5' square) or will they be smaller so you can get more bodies into the representation of the squad. Then find some tokens you can work on. I would suggest starting with Devin Knights free tokens, you can find them here, http://immortalnights.com/tokensite/ More info to come after I hear a little more on what you envision a squad to look like, typical size, size of individual creatures vs size of a one square token, etc.
